@MrDaveGunter Dave, I certainly hope you'll be able to connect with Kevin. He's one of my favorite people in the world. If you see him, please give him my aloha.
awesome fran!!! i couldn't help but notice... but it looked as if someone was giving himself a self induced high. you looked like you were totally enjoying playing that piece!!! it makes me want to practice... though as of late i haven't had much time. good job!! that's for the inspiration!!
John, I wish you could have been here. A warm day just cooling off, a nice breeze but not windy, relaxed on the back deck. How could I not be enjoying it!!
Thanks for visiting. Sorry, I just made it up and will never play it the same way again, so there's no tab. The tuning is open G (DGDGBD) and I'm using the harmonized "slack key scale" on the first and third strings. Hopefully that will be enough for you to figure out the piece.
Nice one, Fran. We're heading to Maui in two weeks and hoping to get in a lesson with Kevin.
Aloha,
Dave

Nicely done! DADF#AD??? I'm surprised you are not playing it on a Ukulele

Sorry I missed your question - the tuning is open G DGDGBD - called taropatch tuning in Hawai`i.
I don't play much `ukulele.

Thanks for the kind words. Hey, I pick the easy songs to learn, you pick the _hard_ ones and do a fantastic job.

Sometimes the simplest songs sound the best. :-)

Thanks, Bob, that's my Kathy Wingert Model E. The poor thing is dinged and beaten up but it still plays and sounds great.

Very nice! Thanks for sharing this.
I don't suppose that you've got a tab available?
