This is my favorite way a character is revealed to be who he/she really is to his/her friends: when the villain him/herself exposes said character's true secret.

Jafar singing and exposing Prince Ali to actually be street rat Aladdin is a perfect way of that, and I'm actually planning to put that into one of my screenplays.

Why do I absolutely LOVE this dark reprise of Prince Ali? If it's this type of animation we're talking, best villains: Jafar (Aladdin), Hades (Hercules), Frollo (The Hunchback of Notre Dame), Banzai (Lion King), and Kaa (Jungle Book).
