i just did this on my '08 MKV GTI using VAG-COM Micro-can. It's cool to have this feature. I just hope it doesn't eat up my remote's battery power...

You need a VAG-COM but this is a step by step on how to do it. There is a step by step at the ross-tech site

@ainamelas There is a setting for opening the sunroof with the remote through vagcom, but it appears not to work on most cars.

Well, why can't you just post how you coded the car through vag come? been trying to do this for ever, im sure you cannot get the windows to auto roll up by one click of a button?

Older ccm modules cannot be coded!!!!!!!! vagcom does not have the feature! only thing that can do it is KVW100, get your facts right and dont remove comments, KID!

@ATSMaster First off, I did not remove your post. You are CORRECT with saying that older CCM need KW100 to activate this feature. If you watch the video you will see that this is NOT a older CCM but a MKV CCM which CAN be programmed via Ross-techs Vag-com software. I know this for a fact because I own the software and did the code change myself! I suggest you read up a bit more on the subject before making false acusations. I'm no "kid" feel free to message me with any questions you have.

you can search to see if Vag com will do it on your model, or join an audi forum and ask in the vag section.

mine works if i stick the key in and turn and hold one way or another.

But i've never seen the remote to do the same thing, i tried it today and it didnt work =(

This is a standard feature for audis with comfort.

Push and hold open butten to open windows\sun roof...

push and hold the close button to close them.

You can also stick in your key in the doors key lock and do the same open=open, close=close.

this has totally nothing to do with vag-com... Just hold the unlock button on the key to open windows. And hold the lock button to close windows/sunroof...

cars in different countries have this feature , some dont. i have a mk4 Bora, and had my windows done via Vag Com or VCD whatever its called. My needles on clocks also now light up when lights are off and ignition on, hav miles 2 empty, tone when i lock doors, auto locks and unlock... etc...  This is in England tho, few things we dont get as standard..

has everything to do with vag com on us spec cars. i had to use my vag come to "unlock" this feature on my 08 r32. as well as turn off the daytime running lights. next i have to enable the auto roll up with rain sensor.
