something I've always wanted to know about the touch screen shortcuts, is can you customise them to be any button press you like? E.g. can I have a button be lp+lk+hp for a crouch tech option select?

@m1nt9reen In 'pro mode' I think they're the same options as you have on console. So Punch x3 / Kick x3 / taunt / focus etc.

It's easy to do a standing 360 move (no move buffering) because of SF4's shortcuts (you don't need to fully do a 360, just a 270)...

You need fast hands/fingers for a standing 720 Ultra though...

Does the mechanic preventing you from performing the same charge move include using the shortcut then using a manually charged version, and do they still work while walking forward?

@Mienaikage good question and I was actually going to include that info in the vid but I muse have forgotten. Yes, it stops that move from being performed again, even when input manually (I tested it specifically because I had the same idea).

Well, I'm back to being a little disappointed with the 3DS versions totally flat, cut-out and static character sprites in the background.

Ok, if that video is entirely made up from the 3DS version of the game then I am now officially impressed.

The only real issue I had with the game before was the totally static cut-out characters in the background but now they all seem to be animating and moving brilliantly.

Consider me a fan.

@YayoiTsubaki You can play the standard 'Pro mode' too. Then you don't have any special move hotkeys and the game plays identically to the console versions. 'Light mode' is just for fun.

@ederondotcom I'm pretty sure you can choose to filter out light mode users, so you'll never fight someone who uses it to be cheap.

@DaDoppen you can't do the booms any quicker then normal, but it sounds like you can do boom, walk foward, mp, boom or something that you can't do normally
