there is probaly gonna be a campaign just like in lugaru and some challanges, but i think allot of people are gonna make custom campaigns with the editor wich will exstent the time allot

@MaddTheSane I can tell you that the plot has something to do with (SPOLIERS FOR LUGARU) how Turner killed the wolf king because he killed his family but he said he did it to keep everything in-balance. Though he still killed him because he made a vow to kill him. Now there is no Wolf king and the other wolfs don't have a leader or any real purpose. So now since there's no wolf to balance there will be a (blank) of Rabbits. Got it yet?

For example have you played Gears of war, Halo or WoW? All of those games are set in fictional worlds. Does it make sense to have undead people walking around? Does it make sense to have aliens living under the surface of earth? Does it make sense to have blades made of energy? Would these games be as popular if it made "sense"? No

@PorifersAnims they're making their own engine called "phoenix" it's kinda similar to unreal, but, lets face it, unreal is getting out of date, and making your own engine lets you controll everything, nobody telling you to increace the price so they can get more money for their engine, if there's a bug, you can fix it yourself, if you need a new feature, again, code it in yourself

Guys, if you want the game, go preorder it. The Devs have been working for over half a decade on it, and if you look at their alpha changelogs, you will see that this game is already almost perfect. Support them, their engines cost a lot of money.

@oliball123 Even There still is a pre-alpha stage. There is A LOT of coding involved in creating the engine. Which they created the engine from scratch. Overgrowth deserves as much publicity as Minecraft, in my opinion.

I had tried Lugaru and couldn't get into it, so I wasn't very taken with Overgrowth the first time I saw it other than HEY COOL RABBIT CHARACTER AND WOLF CHARACTER YAY

I come back months since then, and now I'm seeing all these crazy cool tools and entertaining development videos.

That engine is extremly powerful! Can you make it so that creating props and things like models and weapons is easy? After seening the long list of carts,crates,walls,rocks etc on the latest video i think that this has real potential. And the sun editor was amazing and looked simple to use, and highly effective. Thank you wolfire, i will buy this if you can go into more detail on what was used for creating props etc.
