we don't cut down the branch because the breadfruit branch is really important in micronesia because we need the bruedfruit to grow the trunk so we can build a canoe...thats why we grow alooooooott(forreals)

Many people in Hawaii and other countries like to prune breadfruit trees so they can reach the fruit easily, especially if the trees are growing in smaller spaces like their yards.
