@mdtaranto You are a dumb ass. Have you never seen a tiger salamander or a fire salamander? I've owned 4 tiger salamanders and currently own one. My friend had a fire salamander for a while and the distinction is clear. If you can't tell the difference then you have a vision problem.

how old is it and what are you trying to feed it? if its as small as the one in the video perhaps try micro-crickets, or the size up from that. make sure not to put too many into your tank. if your baby fire salamander is still waterbound you should be feeding it things like bloodworms.

no. it's not recommended to mix any amphibians together because the secretions the have could be toxic to each other. sorry... (you can only have same species) a ten gallon should hold a fire salamander no problem though :)

they secrete poison, but i dont think there have been any cases of deaths from fire salamanders. if you dont wash your hands after handling one, you may get a mild skin irritation.

So yeah, they can give you a rash.

Because a) babies don't secrete enough toxins to harm humans, and

b) Like Kay mentioned before, if youre careful enough to wash your hands before and after like you should do with all lizards, then you're fine.

yes. they have poison glands under their skin, they tend to coincide with where the yellow is, and also on their heads. they arent dangerous to hold although pet owners are recommended to wash their hands after holding one. Some are prone to get rashes if they arent careful to wash after holding one :)
