  • most beginners can not place foot to inner thigh. If this is a issue place toe on floor and arch on ankle. It creates mental and physical stability.

  • my leg refuses to stay on my thigh!

  • My guru says if the leg (actually the foot) does not stay at the thigh, if is fine to "rest" it above or below the knee during the pose. He emphasized to NOT rest the foot against the inside of the knee as this will push the knee outward causing pain or discomfort. Keep practicing, it is a wonderful pose and well demonstrated in this video.
