A complete "more" complete list of techno/ synth pioneers would have to include this guy, Cowley who really is #1, Bobby "O" Orlando, Gino Soccio, Giorgio Moroder, and we can't forget the band Kraftwerk. There are others to be sure but in my humble opinion these are thee masters.

what a great talent patrick was i wasn't even born until 1991 but i have always loved disco music great listening music its awful that he was a early victim to aids he was a good man from what i hear this album was actually done by patrick to explain how he was feeling from his progressing HIV infection but im sure patrick is making quality disco albums in heaven =] R.I.P patrick cowley 1950-1982

Goddamn, you all have no idea how much I adore this song. It makes me go cold all over and shivers down my spine. Ethereal, timeless, there arent enough superlatives to describe this song. All I can say is when Patrick Cowley passed away, one of music's true geniuses and innovators was lost forever:(

@ralucagymnast Had to split this; 500 character limit sucks.Two things surprise me about this song: one is that nobody has sampled it in recent years(which, is a good thing really, I would hate it to become part of "modern" music, it should be given the reverence it deserves, and two, there have been so few views for this magnificent piece of music.
