For printing a limited run book, I would suggest the ClickBook software. It will print books of any size. From cute doll books to full-sized books on any printer. Even prints in signatures.
this is so true. Thats why alot do self publish. I got a book published but people like the secound one better. Those who have read it. So much so that I need to get an agent so I can get it to the right publishing house. The first one wasn't published by the greatest publishing house. And not all publishing houses will except what you have. I had trouble because of the content.
Good advice, I don't find it negative in the slightest, it's just the truth. That life doesn't always get you what you want. And if your not prepared to handle a failure, you may never be able to pick yourself back up for a success
@TradersPost: this may or may not be true, but i read once that Stephen King threw his novel Carrie in the trash and basically said "f*** it" to writing, then his wife supposedly retained it from the trash and sent it in under his name.
True or not, I'm not sure but hey, if it is then perhaps if it weren't for his spouse we would be calling some horror writer the best writer of horror in the US.
Seriously, when I think about my novel not getting publish I get really down. Like because I've spent about almost two years developing the plot -- really actually figuring out how to approach it.
But You know, I'll take not getting published fine...But of course I'll be kinda ticked.
Dont tell yourself that it may never get published! Thats bull. The most successful authors will tell you to keep trying and never give up. It doesnt matter how long it takes, KEEP TRYING TIL U GET PUBLISHED! This girl is stupid.
she only said be realistic..keep trying, of course because it is all great practice, but don't give up if you dont get everything published. You know as well as I do that not everything you write will be published, honestly, but knowing that, keep going anyway.
you sound like those losers on american idol who tell simon he is wrong, where are they now? just because you bust your ass writing a book you think is brilliant doesnt mean anyone will ever buy it. but if you are writing only to get published, you have already failed
'you'd hit that?' ...c'mon guys... we came to these videos for advice... it's pretty obvious that she's good looking, but it doesn't relate to the video!

if you don't get the book you write published does that mean you give up on that book you wrote and have to start a new one?
MewRocks17 1 year ago
@MewRocks17: No, you submit it to all the other publishers that you think will accept it. If that doesn't work, then you start another novel.

is Manuscript another word for a Stage Scipt?
hemanshera777 3 years ago
No, basically it's just something written by HAND rather than printed to be published... I just looked it up myself since I shared the same question!
rarecloud 3 years ago
no, a manuscript is any unpublished novel

This is very informative. Thank you, finally a clear cut explanation on how to write a proper manuscript. ;-)
