There are two countries ,don't mix them up,North Korea is the rogue state,South Korea is more westernized.I know several korean students and are top of the class in maths and sciences,pity that they are not very creative,because the educational system there doesn't encourage that...nice people all the same.

i know you are not a racist and you dont mean that you wanted to say that in that way. ah.. but what i want to say is.. ah.. every korean knows where spain is. we lean geography as you do. well there are many travellers or residents in spain i reckon. just ask them, had you known where spain is before you came here? they must say "of course yes". i dont understand how you can say that mate.. isn't it just a preconception? i dont know why you have that opinion mate. frustrated.

and you said people should read it in spanigh to understand this. why? there are some books that ackowledged-translated in korean. it is even hard to read in korean as well as its implied messsage. those people translated it so well. of course there are many people who are not interested that where spain is, what is " man of lamancha"

for all that we cannot say they are rude or.. like that yeah you know what im sayin huh? that is just the interest that they have. we cannot blame or insult or abuse it. i know its greatness. i respect it. because i read it in korean of course.

if people dont know where other country exists, what does it mean? do people know where all over countries are?

i can darely say " no " is it racism? they dont know that because they are so proud of their county? of course not!

it only depends on people's interest. and it is so vast mate. dont think about that anymore. and no korean dont like spain. we all think spain is one of the beautiful country in the world.

ill take a map and challenge random people next time im in Seoul...maybe Koreans shud focus less on knowing where Spain is and quit pointing missiles at each others capitals...but they already know that!
