@macksfischer Blaming them is justified however, given I agree that people shouldn't care but you're talking teenagers, social pressure makes them do many stupid things, including ending their lives. If there wasn't such a large anti-gay movement from the "loving" Christian right the number of these deaths would drop significantly.

Something a lot of people may not realize is that once religious figures get involved the "bullying" can be scary. People can receive cryptic death threats that make it seem they are all alone and it's just a matter of time before they are kidnapped tormented and murdered leaving them to think they are already marked for death anyway.

RIP Even though I didn't know you. You sound very inspiring. I remember when I was your age a couple of years ago and felt like it was the end. But it is true it gets better. Now I just graduated High School this year and feel more confident. Jamey is so missed and whether or not you're a Little Monster or not you need to be as outraged as we are. This kind of behavior CANNOT and WILL NOT be tolerated. ESPECIALLY when it's based on religion. There is a reason public schools are separate from religion. And if we idly sit back and let religion seep into our children's lives, deaths like this will happen every day. This was murder and the blood is on the hands of Christians.
