I disagree with Jessica Alba and Michael Copon... Since I am deadset on David Alpay for Hyacinthe... Also, I prefer Gerard Butler for Selig though Eric is a good second... But he's not barbaric enough for me to be a Selig. And I've always imagined Eric Bana for the Dalriada bloke, what's his name... Who have you got pegged for Isidore? I'm stuck between Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Gaspard Ulliel for Isidore and Baudoin, can't pick which is which... Adore Claudia Lynx and Jude Law.

Kudos on finding actors for so many of the characters. The most inspired one has to be Raoul Bova as Chidric d'Essoms, since it made me go "whoah! that's *exactly* how i imagine him!"

jessica alba is perfect for phedre, she has the body,the face and the dark side to her that the role requires plus her skin is only not light olive when she tans up, staying out of the sun and a little make up thats all, not that she needs make up, i say jeremy irons for Anafiel delaunay,age aside his voice and manner alone.

I think I always pictured Phedre looking more like Summer Glau. Jessica might do a good job with it though. The problem is you always get your own vision of the character in your mind and it's hard to see them in a movie played by an actress sometimes. I really liked your presentation though.
thanx for your comment ^^, anyway, even though Ralph Fiennes' ironical appearance would be perfect for Delaunay's role, i think he is too old to play that role: Anafiel Delaunay in the first novel is 30, while Ralph is about 40. As to Melisande, At the beginning of the novel she is quite young, 23 years old. Claudia Lynx is perfect, since her age is about 26. Furthermore, with make-up people can become older or younger.. it depends on the situation. BTW thank u again for your comment ^^

Intelligence, humour, wit, undeniably sexy!!!!!He can handle the colouring for Delauney as well, he's gorgeous as a red head! I tend to see Ralph Finnes for Barqueil L'Envers, super blond, looking like a hawk ready to pounce.....

great choices, as long as alba had good direction, script etc. i like your choices better than ariannasing. phedre and melisande need to be extraordinary beauties. selig needs to be bigger and more nordic looking than eric bana tho imo
i also dunno. but her incredible beautiful features make her the perfect Phedre, according to my point of view. and Jessica, anyway is a good actress too. She can act in malicious and strong roles ( Sin City, Dark Angel..exc..) and her personality is the best one
