Trying to suggest the increase in iPod sales are responsible for increases in crime is beyond absurd. I'm embarrassed for whoever wrote such an inane report and whoever broadcast it. That's just taking bad statistics to a new level. Correlation does not equal causation. A more likely conclusion would be that a bad economy increases crime. We know that is true. How embarrassing.
