Like many artforms, I really enjoy the aesthetic, but I'm really an outsider to the genre. I listen to Meshuggah, Otep, Zao, and Dillenger Escape Plan often, however. I find the lack of humor to be really a intriguing aspect of metal.

Well I guess your interpretation of metal is uniquely different than to most metalheads... ripped clothing and headbangs.
Metal can be quite humorous. There are bands like Lawnmower Deth, Anal Cunt, and Gwar that focusses on humour.
Anyhow, your vid is intriguing. Mainly because it doesn't show violence and aggression, which is waht most people would get from metal.
