Is this supposed to make Beethoven look intelligent? That he can take a stick and break the model of a bridge and I do not see what the big deal is he can rebuild the model. After all he still has the blue prints.
Beethoven made a point by destroying that guys little bridge, Music is the greatest Form of Art. He smashed it up to show him that great artists are made from suffering.
IMO,Beethovens later string music is not very "User friendly",even now in the 21st century.Espicially the piece used in this part of the movie."The Grosse Fuge"is definitely not music for people who want to be"Consoled",or who want to hear a "pretty melody". ; . )
@maestromarble08 maybe it wasn#t the music they know and wich they wanted to here. i mean it isnt perfect like freude schöner götterfunken. he didnt here the orchestra and couldnt choose the tempo or the volume of the song. in their ears it was horrible.

I don’t know what he expects? It is a bridge it is supposed to get people from A to B and not fall down while people are using it for that purpose.
