since my last comment i notice that i can get my HTC Hero (sprint) to run at 28.0FPS when i shut off the HTC Sence UI thing.

I just ran my HTC Hero Sprint with this Bench mark and it bench at 27.5FPS ...what i did is use advance task killer to close anything running in back round and I got those numbers....not bad

of course nexus will be faster the processor is 1000 compared to a 528 hero processor

All phones should have hd screens now anyways, its getting riduculous that demand for smartphones is going up but no one is making anything that great. I Have the sprint Hero and i love it but i know they can make better, the nexus 1 is the same thing with a few improvements. I'll keep waiting for the real "Iphone killer"

VERY well known . everybody knows about ipods so most are just like ipod + phone= win you ask some random person on the street have you heard of android odds are no. though getting well more popular still have along way to go before we beat the "cool" guy of the school

that is like comparing standard t.v. to HD, the Nexus one has to draw almost 3 times as much pixels, and its still faster = Big Win to me

true that darg, but c'mon cant we expect ALITTLE better performance from a phone has almost double the RAM and double the processing speed? i was honestly expecting more than a .3 frames per second difference!
