Anyone know how you can get this in English, i saw there was a translation project for it but i was unsure if you had to get the legit Japanese game first and then patch it or not

People need to stop complaining about wanting KyoAni to turn this into an anime. This anime wouldn't really be suitable for an anime first of all (because there's a minigame that would probably get stale really quickly). The routes are honestly not that good and Rin2 and Refrain are really the only reasons why LB is amazing.

If you guys really like it that much, just go READ the VN since English translations are out.

@LoliZnF Visual Arts has said that they would like an anime for Little Busters, but they really only want KyoAni to do it. The only problem with that is KyoAni only works on one project at a time.

I mean, yeah, an anime would make bank because the VN is so well known, but the actual game is not legendary for anything but it's Refrain route. You'd get a season of mostly bad routes (there are a few that are decent at best), and then you'd get Refrain and even then I say the VN is a LOT better if you want to get the full meaning of Refrain.

KyoAni DID screw up After Story when they didn't properly explain the orbs of light near the ending of the VN.

Kud's was fine. Mio's actually considered one of the best of the six pretty mediocre routes. And yes, Rin and Refrain are legendary.

Also, don't be lazy. Read the VN. It's more worth it than whatever adaptation is going to be made of it. I loved Clannad but there's no doubt that the Clannad VN was better and better explained. I guarantee even more with Little Busters.

@LoliZnF Really? Most people I've talked to hated Kud's route. And I'm not being lazy. I plan on downloading the VN once I get my computer fixed. I've played the Clannad VN as well. And even though the VNs are better than the anime, I still enjoy them. It's alos easier to get my friends and family into the anime as opposed to the VN. Plus, I really want to see Rin animated! >.<

I don't know why people would hate Kud's route and not hate Komari's route. Her route was god awful and easily ctrl-ed. At least Kud was cute. :P

Well it's fine if you want them animated....but I mean....ehhh I just can't see it being good. Meh, who knows. I've actually loved most of KyoAni's route at this point, so I guess I can't complain that much.

I always pictured Komari as being like a kind grandmother but is cute and teenage. I thought Komari's was as good as Rin 2's as both of them deal with mending a shattered past.

Kud's was the most unbelievable of them all. What a weird situation that nobody will ever be in. Her character was cute though.

One of my favorite things about the VN is replaying the reactions Rin gives when she is surprised. Just cracks me up.

Kurugaya was a good mindfuck and Haruka's was complex

Half of the stuff in Komari was basically just about sweets and cookies. Since when was that as good as Rin2, because Rin2 was a lot more eventful and worth reading about.

it at times like these that i wish Kyoto Animation was not such a loved studio. Shows they made instead of little busters: Angels Beats: loved it K-on! and K-on!!: loved it Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya: My favorite Haruhi. Nichijou: on my to watch list. They are working on: K-on!:(The movie.) Before all of that Clannad and lucky star. Almost all my favorite anime from one place. As much as i want LB's anime. I want it that much more from KA.

the story gives a whole package of Drama, Comedy, Supernatural Phenomena, Tragedy, Harem, and Romance that shows promise of an outstanding anime series. and also I think it can be more than 1 season just like Clannad. because this Story is filled with important but funny, tragic, and Romantic Elements to good to be left out. Jun Maeda has done an amazing job of doing what is needed to come up with amazing stories for manga and has a whole entire cast behind him. its to good of a story to pass.

@NeroNightwind I'm almost certain Rin 2 and Refrain routes are still untranslated (last news say they only need to finish Refrain to release full patch) so unless someone out there made their own translation I don't think your version is completely in English. That said, the common route and all the heroine endings except Rin's True End (Rin 2) are done so it can give you the ilussion that it is fully translated.

Little busters it's AWESOME, the english patch it's almost done, and if you play it you will laugh, cry, and god, everything you can feel, it's just an awesome visual novel, every character is so unique and especial... Well, i don't hate the idea of an anime too, but i fear that the anime will spoil much of the story while not having enough time (episode-wise) to seek all the story details. Wich is why i like this game, the story have a really relaxing rythm while having action and feelings involved.

A message from early august said that one of the translations had translated roughly 40% of the script. But it wasn't coded yet.
