I don't have much of an issue with the top 10 choices, because Milk and WALL-E in paticular were great imo, but I think that a) some of the choices were bloody awful in terms of filmmaking, and b) there were some fantastic films from 2008 such as Waltz With Bashir, Happy Go Lucky and Boy A that were omitted from the list. All of those movie received a limited releases in late 2008 and were viewed in small increments of theaters. They were ALL also up for 2008 Film Awards. They only just got their wide release in early 2009. God, aren't ignorant people just the best?
