It is neither "Chalki" or "Halki" as the sound at the beginning of "Halki" cannot be represented in English. "Halki" is closest as "Chalki" (chalky) just sounds ridiculous and nothing like the actual pronounciation. You pronounce it with the -ch at the end of the Scottish word "loch" but slightly more gently. It's definitely not chalki for goodness sake!
