If anyone is interested, I posted a link to some photos of my setup. Since the recording of this video, I got a new CPU cooler than has allowed me to easily push it up to 3.4 GHz. I also won 24 GB of DDR3 Corsair Vengeance RAM at PAX this year and have 20 GB installed (my first DIMM slot is covered by the massive CPU cooler :P)
Ehhh bad luck then. I will play on the pc, and i only got a ps3. Why do you choose the xbox over your powerfull pc? Bf3 has better graphics and supports more players on pc. I guess its your friends that you have on x360?
@N11kon Well, I'm going to play the campaign and the co-op on PC, but I actually find it more fun with less people because I can make more of a difference in the outcome of the game. The graphics in multiplayer are moot for me, because I'd take fun over prettiness every time. Most of my friends are going to be playing on Xbox, plus I'm better there than on PC :P
@N11kon Loved the beta, but I'll be playing the game's multiplayer on 360. I don't know why but I'm /much/ better on the console for all of the Battlefield games :P
@Cb7rule When you're recording? Because mine lags whenever the video gets to be 4 GB large, then it splits to another video and lags me for a few seconds. Maybe that's what you're experiencing?
@xVxNICKxVx Nope its not that :( im playing and after 10 seconds its start to lag, sometime it dont though. i can record some footage and post it on youtube but i dont think you can do much about it i guest :(
Hey man, i have the same same card and cpu with stock settings , you think i should get an i7 2600k or sli the 570? also i have an intel dx580g mobo and i suppose it wont go tripple channel memory unless i instert 3 sticks of ram? i have 2x4Gb's atm , i suppose im dual =/
@CrASYmUZIk I'd start with getting triple channel memory. Find an identical 4 GB stick and put it in there. Then SLI the 570. You'll see more performance from that than upgrading from an i7 to an i7 ;P
@Qahoa The i7 processor takes advantage of triple channel memory. So, I just went with a kit that was 3 4-GB modules. The only other option was 3 2-GB modules in tri-channel and that isn't enough for the tasks I have my computer perform.
You'll ace minimum settings, but maximum might be slightly choppy... your processor and RAM are enough, but depending on your monitor resolution... eh
the 6770 sucks. take the i5 2500(k) instead of the i7 and put the money into the video card. take the gtx 560 ti. it's enough to max crysis out anyway..
Everything is good EXCEPT for the power supply. If you're getting the 2500K, chances are you're going to overclock it (why else would you get K?), and the 600W supply isn't enough for the GTX 570. Get the Corsair 850 watt.
@piXwow Yeah that setup is sweet. However, like @AETutorials42 said, that PSU should be a bit more powerful for not only overclocking, but so the system can be more future-proof. I'd also suggest buying a SATA III hard drive as opposed to SATA II, but that's your call.
the psu should do it. and it is future proof because the next gen. hardware goes more to the direction of having less power comsumption --> kepler, maxwell
@Muhiddin92 Yeah, with that system I'd go for something a bit cheaper... Like a GTX 560 Ti. A 570 would get bottlenecked quick by your CPU. Plus I think the 570 needs a 600 W PSU.
@Muhiddin92 Really, the GTX 560 Ti would suit your system better. This GPU is insanely powerful and won't be utilized in that system, as far as I'm aware. The 560 Ti isn't a chump either, it's still quite a nice card, and it's over $100 cheaper.
Last week I went to the computer shop,EVGA GTX560 Ti price is $ 286
and brand Leadtek GTX570 is $ 333. But the brand EVGA GTX570 is $ 416 and Gigabyte GTX570 is $ 433 , which quite expensive for Brand EVGA and Gigabyte.
it is LEADTEK brand is good for the GPU?
the difference between GTX560 and GTX570 as a overall is about 20% faster in GTX570.
I just want to play with the highest FPS.
If the performance of the both GPU is the same in my PC , better I choose 560Ti
@THEDEADLIESTXBOX Ouch. Yeah, don't waste your money on a 570. Upgrade your system to a quad core processor and 3 or more GB of RAM before you get a card like the 570.
For reference, this system I'm playing on has an Intel i7-950 (4 cores at 3.07 GHz) and 12 GB of DDR3 RAM.
@xVxNICKxVx I hope this is not a dumb question but what if i just buy more ram and wait to buy a intel core i don't care if i have to lower some seting down i just want it to look good so i can play.
@THEDEADLIESTXBOX You'd first need to make sure your motherboard can support it. And, you can't buy a GPU like this and have a CPU that can't keep up. It may look good, but you'll get like 5 FPS because the CPU can't process on the same tier as the GPU can.
Hi i have a pc but it's not the most powerfull pc if i buy one evga gtx 570 card will it play gta eflc on max because when i try to play it i have to pute ever thing on low please reply.
Hi i have a pc but it's not the most powerfull pc if i buy one evga gtx 580 card will it play gta eflc on max because when i try to play it i have to pute ever thing on low please reply.
@THEDEADLIESTXBOX Well, a GTX 580 would run this game into the ground, haha. But you need to remember that you need to have an awesome PSU, nice motherboard and top-tier processor or you will have the card not get enough power, not work in general, or have CPU bottlenecks, respectively.
@THEDEADLIESTXBOX Well, most of the same stuff applies. The 570 is /way/ more than capable of playing this game well. You just need to ensure the quality of the rest of the computer. Again, post your PSU, motherboard, and CPU specs, and I may be able to help a bit more.
@CouchDorito It's only 22". 1680 x 1050, but it's the perfect size for where my setup is. And, I don't like VSync off in any game. The tearing thing just bugs me a lot. I'm willing to only have 60 FPS :P
@MrOggo123 Both of those are great cards. And, you won't see a big difference in performance between them. I would either try to buy the cheaper one, or get the AMD card just because if you have problems with CPU or GPU one company can assist you with both.

@piXwow To be safe, I'd suggest something like the Corsair CMPSU-750TX.
