  • If anyone is interested, I posted a link to some photos of my setup. Since the recording of this video, I got a new CPU cooler than has allowed me to easily push it up to 3.4 GHz. I also won 24 GB of DDR3 Corsair Vengeance RAM at PAX this year and have 20 GB installed (my first DIMM slot is covered by the massive CPU cooler :P)

  • Ehhh bad luck then. I will play on the pc, and i only got a ps3. Why do you choose the xbox over your powerfull pc? Bf3 has better graphics and supports more players on pc. I guess its your friends that you have on x360?

  • @N11kon Well, I'm going to play the campaign and the co-op on PC, but I actually find it more fun with less people because I can make more of a difference in the outcome of the game. The graphics in multiplayer are moot for me, because I'd take fun over prettiness every time. Most of my friends are going to be playing on Xbox, plus I'm better there than on PC :P

  • Give me your pc! Its amazing

  • @N11kon No thanks! ;P

I'd be more than willing to play with you though! Haha.

  • @N11kon Hmmm.....maybe we will but another game. Like battlefield 3 xD

  • @N11kon Loved the beta, but I'll be playing the game's multiplayer on 360. I don't know why but I'm /much/ better on the console for all of the Battlefield games :P

    bfbcs (dot cohm)/stats_360/xVx%20NICK%20xVx

    :D

  • @xVxNICKxVx with that pc you shouldnt play it on 360 ;)

  • @TheOpenfield Haha I know! But multiplayer is so much more fun on 360! Everybody has mics and communicates and I get more points :P

  • @N11kon Check the description ;P

  • I have the same setup as yours but with fraps, the game start to lags. I use the same resolution to. Do you know what could be wrong?

  • @Cb7rule When you're recording? Because mine lags whenever the video gets to be 4 GB large, then it splits to another video and lags me for a few seconds. Maybe that's what you're experiencing?

  • @xVxNICKxVx Nope its not that :( im playing and after 10 seconds its start to lag, sometime it dont though. i can record some footage and post it on youtube but i dont think you can do much about it i guest :(

  • @xVxNICKxVx Do you think it could be the patch im using? I heard some patch improve preformance. i have patch 1.0.4.0. What is yours??

  • @Cb7rule I would think that may be an issue. I'm running 1.0.7.0 on Steam and it runs great. See if that does it for you.

  • is the gtx 570 better than the 560? (i suppose yes but just ckecking)?

  • @HaXxxOnline Yep. The 500 line goes from lower to higher and performance reflects that.

  • Hey man, i have the same same card and cpu with stock settings , you think i should get an i7 2600k or sli the 570? also i have an intel dx580g mobo and i suppose it wont go tripple channel memory unless i instert 3 sticks of ram? i have 2x4Gb's atm , i suppose im dual =/

  • @CrASYmUZIk I'd start with getting triple channel memory. Find an identical 4 GB stick and put it in there. Then SLI the 570. You'll see more performance from that than upgrading from an i7 to an i7 ;P

  • @xVxNICKxVx Thanks

  • why 12 GB or RAMs ?

  • @Qahoa The i7 processor takes advantage of triple channel memory. So, I just went with a kit that was 3 4-GB modules. The only other option was 3 2-GB modules in tri-channel and that isn't enough for the tasks I have my computer perform.

    would it can do this?

  • How much FPS would I get with this on max and min graphics settings?

    Asus - Essentio Desktop / Intel® Core™ i7 Processor / 8GB Memory / 1TB Hard Drive

XFX - ATI Radeon HD 6770 1GB DDR5 PCI Express 2.1 Graphics Card

  • @RedwingdProductions

You'll ace minimum settings, but maximum might be slightly choppy... your processor and RAM are enough, but depending on your monitor resolution... eh

  • @AETutorials42 My moniter resolution is 1600x900. I can set it lower if I have to though.

  • @RedwingdProductions

the 6770 sucks. take the i5 2500(k) instead of the i7 and put the money into the video card. take the gtx 560 ti. it's enough to max crysis out anyway..

  • @madsnowman180 just get the i7 2600k and 560 ti.

  • I saw some where on youtube where a guy played this at 60FPS solid. it must have been a sandy bridge i7

  • @TrantaLocked At what resolution? Or maybe he was using a 580?

  • @xVxNICKxVx haha it was actually an i7 sandy bridge overclocked to over 4GHz

  • the worst console port ever

  • @SpadeAce90 Yeah it's not the greatest... I know it's bad because I have to play with the 360 controller on my PC :P

  • @xVxNICKxVx How good will a AMD Phenom ii x4 955 run this card and game.

  • @BIG10717 Should run great.

  • @xVxNICKxVx The amd phenom ii x4 955 is clocked at 3.2GHz and i have 5120MB RAM how good with this card an game play.

  • hey, i will buy a new pc, and im thinking on this:

    INTEL CORE i5 2500K (3.3GHZ) SKT 1155 ASUS P8P67 LE REV 3.0 GSKILL KIT 8GB DDR3 1600MHZ SNIPER (CL9) NZXT TEMPEST EVO SAMSUNG 1TB SATA II 32MB F3 SAMSUNG DVD±R 22X SH-S223 PRETO BULK (SATA) CORSAIR CX-600W ASUS GTX570 DCII 1280MB DDR5 PCI-E

the problem is: will the power supply be good enough?

  • @piXwow To be safe, I'd suggest something like the Corsair CMPSU-750TX.

And with that setup, I'd spring for an i7-2600K so you don't get bottlenecked by the CPU, if you ever want to add another GPU or what not.

  • @piXwow

Everything is good EXCEPT for the power supply. If you're getting the 2500K, chances are you're going to overclock it (why else would you get K?), and the 600W supply isn't enough for the GTX 570. Get the Corsair 850 watt.

  • @piXwow Yeah that setup is sweet. However, like @AETutorials42 said, that PSU should be a bit more powerful for not only overclocking, but so the system can be more future-proof. I'd also suggest buying a SATA III hard drive as opposed to SATA II, but that's your call.

  • @piXwow

the psu should do it. and it is future proof because the next gen. hardware goes more to the direction of having less power comsumption --> kepler, maxwell

  • Hi .

    My Spec

    C2Q Q8200 @ 2.33Ghz

    DDR2 4gb Ram

    PSU Gigabyte Superb 550w

Can my computer use GTX570 with this spec ?

  • @Muhiddin92 Yeah, with that system I'd go for something a bit cheaper... Like a GTX 560 Ti. A 570 would get bottlenecked quick by your CPU. Plus I think the 570 needs a 600 W PSU.

  • @xVxNICKxVx

Oh .whether the same speed/performance as Ti GTX560 , if I install GTX570 on my PC ?

I read on the nvidia website, says that the minimum is 550w PSU for GTX570.

  • @Muhiddin92 Really, the GTX 560 Ti would suit your system better. This GPU is insanely powerful and won't be utilized in that system, as far as I'm aware. The 560 Ti isn't a chump either, it's still quite a nice card, and it's over $100 cheaper.

  • @xVxNICKxVx

    I wonder;

Last week I went to the computer shop,EVGA GTX560 Ti price is $ 286

and brand Leadtek GTX570 is $ 333. But the brand EVGA GTX570 is $ 416 and Gigabyte GTX570 is $ 433 , which quite expensive for Brand EVGA and Gigabyte.

it is LEADTEK brand is good for the GPU?

the difference between GTX560 and GTX570 as a overall is about 20% faster in GTX570.

I just want to play with the highest FPS.

If the performance of the both GPU is the same in my PC , better I choose 560Ti

  • @Muhiddin92 Wow those prices are quite marked up. Look on Newegg, com. The 560 Ti is $259.

I don't suggest any brands other than MSI, EVGA, or ASUS. Those companies are rock solid. My EVGA GTX 570 SC was $360.

  • @xVxNICKxVx

oh . thz for your help ^^

so , it better for me to choose GTX560 .

  • @Muhiddin92 No problem!

  • Good gameplay man.. :)

  • Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) II X240 Processor (2 CPUs), ~2.8GHz. Memory: 512MB RAM. I hope this help's.

  • @THEDEADLIESTXBOX Ouch. Yeah, don't waste your money on a 570. Upgrade your system to a quad core processor and 3 or more GB of RAM before you get a card like the 570.

For reference, this system I'm playing on has an Intel i7-950 (4 cores at 3.07 GHz) and 12 GB of DDR3 RAM.

  • @xVxNICKxVx I hope this is not a dumb question but what if i just buy more ram and wait to buy a intel core i don't care if i have to lower some seting down i just want it to look good so i can play.

  • @THEDEADLIESTXBOX You'd first need to make sure your motherboard can support it. And, you can't buy a GPU like this and have a CPU that can't keep up. It may look good, but you'll get like 5 FPS because the CPU can't process on the same tier as the GPU can.

  • @xVxNICKxVx Well my hard drive space is 600GB and how do you fix a bottleneck od you just upgrade

  • @xVxNICKxVx oh yeh i don't got 512GB RAM i got 5120 GB RAM ad hard drive is 600GB

  • @THEDEADLIESTXBOX Well, that's a big difference :P

If I were you, I'd buy this card and upgrade to an AMD Phenom II X6.

  • Hi i have a pc but it's not the most powerfull pc if i buy one evga gtx 580 card will it play gta eflc on max because when i try to play it i have to pute ever thing on low please reply.

  • @THEDEADLIESTXBOX Well, a GTX 580 would run this game into the ground, haha. But you need to remember that you need to have an awesome PSU, nice motherboard and top-tier processor or you will have the card not get enough power, not work in general, or have CPU bottlenecks, respectively.

    Post your PC specs first.

  • @xVxNICKxVx No sorry i ment evga gtx 570

  • @THEDEADLIESTXBOX Well, most of the same stuff applies. The 570 is /way/ more than capable of playing this game well. You just need to ensure the quality of the rest of the computer. Again, post your PSU, motherboard, and CPU specs, and I may be able to help a bit more.

  • @CouchDorito 1920:1080

  • @CouchDorito It's only 22". 1680 x 1050, but it's the perfect size for where my setup is. And, I don't like VSync off in any game. The tearing thing just bugs me a lot. I'm willing to only have 60 FPS :P

  • hi i have gtx 570 and i7 950 4 GB RAM and is laggy

    what's the problem

  • @antonio50150 Try and download the most recent drivers from the GeForce website.

If that doesn't work, contact Rockstar or NVIDIA. I can't help you too much :P

  • what is your cpu and what Ghz?

  • @Xiquad An i7-950 @ stock 3.07 GHz.

  • GTA IV eats CPU more than GPU

  • @SpadeAce90 Hmm. My CPU usage only ever goes up to like 40%. GPU goes to 100% quite often though.

  • @xVxNICKxVx what cpu you got mate?

  • @AdamYoung96 An i7-950 @ stock 3.07 GHz.

  • @xVxNICKxVx cheers bro

  • turn off vsync, it only eat ur fps....turn it off, and say what fps u have.

  • @SharKun99 Oh it's strange though, when I turn off VSync, Afterburner says I only get 30 FPS, but with VSync on, I get like 50. I dunno. Haha.

  • @xVxNICKxVx im getting new pc

    specs are: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T 6-core 3,2GHz

    4 GB DDR3 ram

and i can choose between ATi HD 6970 2GB and nVidia GTX 570 1.28 GB

    wich one is better ?

  • @MrOggo123 Both of those are great cards. And, you won't see a big difference in performance between them. I would either try to buy the cheaper one, or get the AMD card just because if you have problems with CPU or GPU one company can assist you with both.

    Your preference, really.
