Did you use the paid version of konboot and does konboot erase or change the password after you use it ? For exmple if in a session i use the cd to bypass the password , in the next one , without konboot will i have to enter the password?

I'v tried all and only safe mode and safe mode networking. I can't get it to start normally without password :/ if know anything appreciate

With any Linux distribution Ubuntu Linux, Linux Mint ... or what ever use chntpw to remove Windows password it's easy... even works on Windows 7...

There's another way to do it . Just restart your pc and press F8 until you get the screen to chose wich mode to start windows go into Safe Mod and and just change it :)

The physical equivalent is inserting a CD into your computer and booting from that.

Duncan, help! I am trying to fix my relatives laptop, but the power isn't working. The battery was leaking so I took it out and am using it just on the charger, but when I try to turn it on, it stays on for about 25 seconds, then shuts off. ummm, your computer is dead, i mean seriously, your screen is cracked. the only thing you can really do is take the hard drive out and put it into another laptop, to transfer all of your files (or whatever you want to do with them)

Just tried using unetbootin to load it from a flash drive.

Key thing I learned is you need the floppy disc version, for some reason it doesn't work with a CD image.
