I realize that on its face, this question will sound stupid, but: What is Anonymous?

I ask because some of the names of those representing these groups suggest a connection to Christianity. Is it a Christian group? Secular? I want to know what motivates them ... I mean besides the obvious (halting Scientology's repression)

no the guys that are not wearing masks that have cameras are scientologists. they always go to protests and video tape them. they do this so that they have proof to show to others that people are protesting against their dumb "religion". if you ever go to one of these protests, wear a mask and do your best to hide your identification. we are anonymous, and thank you for your support in protesting this cult

Not for or against Scientology here. You guys seem to have a lot of passion... why not focus your energy to a cause that's actually meaningful. All religions have a bloody history for god sake. Scientology is one with fewer transgressions than most. What about starving children? What about domestic abuse? Surely you can find a better cause?!

The CPD at one time favored the Scientologists. That apparently has changed, but many of us didn't know that going in. They were great. They actually gave us advice on how to keep withing the law. I believe they were actually there to keep the peace. Epic Win, Florida Anonymous!
