Lets say in this "fantasy arena" you are in, when a "creep" dies, it gives the opposing forces "gold" and "experience". But wait! If you kill your own creeps, NO gold and LESS experience is granted to the other team! HOLY SHIT, IT'S A FUCKING BREAKTHROUGH!
not only u can deny creeps and towers on HoN, but also HEROS affected by a Damage on time from enemy hero...wich is awesome! and requires lots of skills and being able to stop rofl'ing so u can keep playing xD

seriously, hon's hero is more agile type. LOL's champion is more to heavy damage type. which means LoL's champion is much more annoying than Hon's. Hon is more to overall strategy planning while LoL is just spamming skill and keep on ganking, which is the most annoying part of this game. keep on spamming your skill and you can easily win in LoL. that's my first impresion on LoL

I don't see your point here. You're arguing your own personal preferences. Cho'Gath is tiny until he gets three stacks of his ult. The bush has to provide stealth to everyone regardless of the champions height or it wouldn't be fair and they obviously can't make something as huge as 50 feet tall without breaking the camera.
@SaitoAOG Also, not all of the champions are from the same dimension. Cho'Gath for instance is from the void. Different artists work on different champions and they all look relatively similar. I'm sure there will be a model upgrade eventually but for now they're fine. I don't care. I like the way it looks and plays. That's all there is to say about that.

Yes i am a hon player and I will say "The general hon community" worries more about their K/D ratio then helping players out in tight situations.... only 10-20% games i played showed good teamwork oh and also its filled with downsyndromes who "troll" gets them somewhere Although I havn't played LoL I can't say much but yeah for those who prefer a good team and coordination don't go for HoN because players once again worry about their K/D
@DarthBobify yeah i tried HoN (after dota) i think i did fine with like 5 kills 3 deaths, but my whole team was raging hardcore for some reason, and they didn't stop until the game ended O_o. after that i tried LoL (note: i tried HoN before LoL because my cousin introduced me to it first) when i got into a game of LoL, i told my team that i have never played the game before, but i have experience in MOBAs. I was thinking they were gonna rage at me, but instead... they helped me out.

HoN: Was super when it was beta... now you have to be pro to play if you want to have any chance to win. plus, you get over lvled and over "itemed" way too fast with the gold earning method. add to this the impossibility to boost abilities. Graphism are wayyyy better. ranked random are more balanced. The new announcer sucks, the old one was epic.
LoL: Copying many many many abilities and champions from HoN (The chipper and Rumble for example), have no originality in abilities (champions get the same onesas the others (Leblanc's passive and shaco's ult... almost the same, etc.) the playability is better than HoN due to space bar instead of C and cursor sensibility, plus distance of your "camera". The announcer sucks soooo much.
heres the fuckin thing with HoN and LoL.....HoN is like 90% copied from the original DoTa, same names, abilities, etc.......yes league is copied a little bit from it, but at least its fuckin' original.....all you HoN players who talk shit about league of legends can just suck it. both games are fun. dont bitch and moan at either of them
Every hero is just a copy of another just with 1 skill copied from each hero to make a different skillset. It's like they're trying really hard to make it balanced by only using 4 skills.

well, LoL has a very bad community because it is very easy to become strong by playing a far too trong champion and fill it up with full runes. riot obviously needs to work on balancing champions, HoN is far better at this, so it takes way more skill to be good in HoN. the game itself is very confusing and its hard to notice enemy's
Played Dota (the real one before allstars,) allstars, HoN and LoL. While the game play is similat across all of them (save for HoN being the same as Dota,) I must say I enjoy LoL a great deal more. Cuz it's free? No, the playerbase even in ranked in my experiance isn't so full of self proclaimed master elitests like Dota Allstars and HoN. It takes me back all the way to Eul's Dota. You played for fun not ranking.

@jreed136 im going to say you have never played the game. granted their concept art all looks like its from the same universe, but the ingame model's do not even make sense. the entire art direction of the game is that of a 5 year old.

I don't see your point here. You're arguing your own personal preferences. Cho'Gath is tiny until he gets three stacks of his ult. The bush has to provide stealth to everyone regardless of the champions height or it wouldn't be fair and they obviously can't make something as huge as 50 feet tall without breaking the camera.

@SaitoAOG Also, not all of the champions are from the same dimension. Cho'Gath for instance is from the void. Different artists work on different champions and they all look relatively similar. I'm sure there will be a model upgrade eventually but for now they're fine. I don't care. I like the way it looks and plays. That's all there is to say about that.

Yes i am a hon player and I will say "The general hon community" worries more about their K/D ratio then helping players out in tight situations.... only 10-20% games i played showed good teamwork oh and also its filled with downsyndromes who "troll" gets them somewhere Although I havn't played LoL I can't say much but yeah for those who prefer a good team and coordination don't go for HoN because players once again worry about their K/D

@DarthBobify yeah i tried HoN (after dota) i think i did fine with like 5 kills 3 deaths, but my whole team was raging hardcore for some reason, and they didn't stop until the game ended O_o. after that i tried LoL (note: i tried HoN before LoL because my cousin introduced me to it first) when i got into a game of LoL, i told my team that i have never played the game before, but i have experience in MOBAs. I was thinking they were gonna rage at me, but instead... they helped me out.

HoN: Was super when it was beta... now you have to be pro to play if you want to have any chance to win. plus, you get over lvled and over "itemed" way too fast with the gold earning method. add to this the impossibility to boost abilities. Graphism are wayyyy better. ranked random are more balanced. The new announcer sucks, the old one was epic.

LoL: Copying many many many abilities and champions from HoN (The chipper and Rumble for example), have no originality in abilities (champions get the same onesas the others (Leblanc's passive and shaco's ult... almost the same, etc.) the playability is better than HoN due to space bar instead of C and cursor sensibility, plus distance of your "camera". The announcer sucks soooo much.

I just hate when people assume that each game is copied 100% straight from DotA....both games are fun, both games have their own 'copies' and both games have their own unique game-play...to be honest, I'm sick of having to argue with everyone else on this subject so...I'll just say it. DotA is the best game out of all of them. i don't even think DotA 2 will be better than the original :)

Im not trying to shut you down or pick on your comment, But HoN has its own original heroes too, and you'll notice TreeFrog, who made DoTA, actually worked on HoN with the creators of Savage. That is why its like a direct copy.
But, it adds other things that league doesnt have.
as league has features neither of the above have.

well, LoL has a very bad community because it is very easy to become strong by playing a far too trong champion and fill it up with full runes. riot obviously needs to work on balancing champions, HoN is far better at this, so it takes way more skill to be good in HoN. the game itself is very confusing and its hard to notice enemy's

Played Dota (the real one before allstars,) allstars, HoN and LoL. While the game play is similat across all of them (save for HoN being the same as Dota,) I must say I enjoy LoL a great deal more. Cuz it's free? No, the playerbase even in ranked in my experiance isn't so full of self proclaimed master elitests like Dota Allstars and HoN. It takes me back all the way to Eul's Dota. You played for fun not ranking.
