i was stuck in there before

i finally went to see the arch and there was a concert there and thousands of people ,if i woulda stayed in line to go up it i would have been there for ever.next time i go i will make sure nothing is going on.

i remember the vent next to the the seats you could look down the vent and you could see all the way down the arch whcich scared me to death

Yeah, the cars that run up the south side were shut down for quite a few weeks because of that. We went up the cars on the north side. My son was one of the Park Service rangers working there.

I just went up to the arch on Sunday, April 20, 2008 I was told though that in January, the tram got stuck and people were trapped in the arch for over 3 hours.
