@RuffianQueenOfRacing Yeah it very sad....But what happened to Ferdinand is the saddest in history..Ruffian died doing what she loved running...I know it didn't happen on the track..But the injury caused her death..What happened to Ferdinand is god damn greek tragedy..Noway in hell in this day and age. Should a Breeders cup and Kentucky derby winner be slaughtered..No racehorse should be but noway one with his resume... It really sickens me whenever i think of that

Ruffian was one of the saddest in history, she was perfect, but she ended in tragedy... who could have known.... She kept running, through the pain, knowing what she was doing, but she just wasnt gona give up until she fell over... she was a fighter, but she didnt have to fight hard to win the hearts of millions of horse racing fans....

what about phar lap? the greatest horse ever!! killed out of jelously misteriously while in america because you's know he would of smashed the american horses he raced one internatianal race in america and won,, the italian american mafia shot at him....( missed thou ..haha )but couldnt kill the god like horse so some1 decided to inject him witha lethal dose of arsenic ... the greatest race horse ever well above any horse in his era and died well before his time .
