  • sounds like porn music

  • @ZarataOfficial Hah, thanks? ;D

  • Are you really from finland or are you from sweden?

  • @BlackOpsPlayers Good ears you've got! ;) My native language is Swedish, but I do live in Finland. :)

  • @tomppaah Ha! I knew it that you live in here! :D

Anyone want to hear a "funkstep" track that I made, here it is!

    /watch?v=K8x3B9TIaJ8

Please leave a comment if you had the time to listen! :)

  • Haha EZ drummer. That's kind of funny. Yeah, english is wacky like that. We have all these backwards rules. "EZ" is a contraction of "easy". So you just pronounce the lettters "E-Z" and it sounds the same as "easy".

Anyways, nice tutorials. So far they've all been very useful (thanks for the info on how to make custom templates!). Can't wait for more. Could you possibly make one that focuses on how you use EWQLSO in FL? I'm curious as to how other people use that plugin.

  • @MariusChamberlin Oh absolutely! :) Then I have the chance to show this new track I've been working on ;P

  • @tomppaah Can you help me? I really can't realize how the multi instruments work! I have 8 tracks in a EWQL instance, but how can I do it so I can manipulate all 8 instruments? When I write in the piano roll, obviously it just uses the first instrument. I watched your other videos, great job. I searched for this problem but I didn't find nothing. My version is GOLD, not XP. I hope you can help me with this. Thanks in advice.

  • @Fohlken When you're in the piano roll you see a little green box above the (note) keys right? It's in the top left corner of the piano roll window. If you want to be able to use all the 8 different instruments you've loaded in to your QWQL instance, you have to change the color of the notes you're placing.

So if you want to place notes for the first instrument, you use the default green color, if you want to use your second instrument, you use the second color, etc.

    I hope this helps!

  • @tomppaah THANK YOU SO MUCH! It worked! I write with a different colour in each pattern and it works. Now I can pay off this monster. The less I can do is subscribe, sir. Now I'm going to try to route the channels like your 3# video. Thx.

  • Ay totally reminded me of those old fighting tracks in a J-RPG hehe.

Anyways i really liked you telling about routing i hadn't really used Fruity loops like you do, which is interesting it seems its much more intuitive to work with it like that, so this video was quite useful thx ^_^

  • Great sound man (: Kind of reminded of something out of a JRPG game (oh I usually hate those kind of games, but the music is often great)... A little bit like the fight theme in FF13.

watch?v=xfu0XBf8kmk - that part at 00:58. Has the same vibe.

Anyways, sweet! I could see you making great tutorials!

  • Thanks man ;D I plan on doing this for some time, and I hope I'll be bale to explain things better so I can actually help someone. ;) I'll be making a walkthrough of how I make a track soon, so that might turn out cool. :)

Oh man, I love FF13. I pre-ordered it for my Xbox 360, but I haven't had time to complete it yet :D. I'm still only on the second disc ;D haha, and there's three of those buggers..

    0:58 <3 the theme

  • Say, how much did that EW Orchestra set you back? Is that what you used for your older symphonic pieces? I use Edirol Orchestral, which is nice, but I think I like the sound of your VST better than mine.
