Poor little love! But thank you for posting this. Last night one of my ferrets fell out the window and broke her thigh bone. The vet thinks it can be fixed, but if worse comes to the worse and she loses it she could be an amputee : ( This video of honey has given me hope that she'll be ok though xXx
@SuperDizzi Hope everything goes well with your ferret.
The vet actually suggested aputation over surgery because most of the time, surgery does not fully correct the problem. Ferrets, as with most animals, don't realize that a limb is missing. They just....adapt. And them being so close to the floor, doesn't make it hard.
@SuperDizzi SHe's beautiful. My fuzzy boy had an accident last week and had his leg amputated yesterday after they tried to save it but couldn't. He is still in vet but we hope to get him home tomorrow. It's his hind leg so we are hoping he will be fine. If he copes as well as Honey he will be perfect. Thanks for posting this video, I couldn't find anything else about ferret amputees. Lot's of fuzzy love

She some how got out of her cage on Wednesday and broke it on the table. She was too small for surgery so no other option.
