@hiimgerald Probably not the fact that a former F1 world champion spun his wheels. I'd say more to do with having the bragging rights about taking his wheels off of him and also to show how little crap they were taking regards 'hooning' around in cars on city streets.
I bet that some of the police jumped into that car themselves and did a burnout or fifty afterwards

Dont believe the tourist adds you see coming across like its all laid back down here, its the nanny state, i better not say too much, internet filter / censor will get me, steve conroy & the TRG will be banging down my door any seco......................
Guess the cop wanted to be on TV. Can't really see any other reason why he talked to the media (and obviously he or his friends called them to the scene - maybe that's why they needed a trailer, to give time to a camera crew to get there?)...
Poor Lewis, he didn't do anything wrong, and they do this to him... :(
I've never known a burn-out to be dangerous. The media were talking about this as if he'd been speeding on the roads.
The police should have cautioned him at the most if they didn't approve of what he was doing. Impounding the car was just to publicly humiliate him, nothing more.. Wouldn't surprise me if the police on scene were overly zealous Webber fans who wanted to ruin Hamilton's weekend.
thats fucking bullshit!!
