Progressive Metalcore is a genre but I must agree it's pretty pointless and annoying, take for example you have metalcore. If a band is progressive metalcore it has a lot more complicated structure..

I'm a bit of a neat freak on my itunes so I put every band in the exact sub genre but the two things I always miss out with a band is "progressive" and "experimental".. the two sub genres that really annoy me..

I've noticed that Parkway Drive have started 2 use their bottom three stings more on the guitaring on Horizons where as most of the time on Killing With A Smile its just the top strings...I got horizons the first day it came out and i'd have to say that there is not one shit song!!!
