  • Wheres bob stiles ?

So cucumber and beansprouts are off the menu?

  • Wheres bob stiles ?

  • "Piercing intellect"...Ha Ha Ha......fucking Ha!!...Say good night Arlen, you are in the dustbin of history, you scoundrel bastard.

  • senator spector the Greatest Senator of all time

  • Enjoy being a Senator, Specter, cause in November 2010, we the people of PA will elect a REAL Senator. . . . Pat Toomey!

  • Traitor

  • What a damn trater that arnold specter is

  • I think arlen specter is a cool name

  • I have a question. I'm not American so I don't understand all the aspects of your politics.

    Now to the question:

How does senators become senators? I was under the impression that a party is allowed to have X senators based on the % of votes in the election. So lets say the dems. are allowed to have 59 senators, and then Specter switches. He would not get a place in the senate, because the dems have already 59 there.

I'm have this wrong, so please enlighten me anyone:)

    Thanks in advance.

  • Each state gets 2 US Senators which are elected by popular vote (within the individual states) every 6 years. So a US Senator can switch parties. Obviously it rarely happens.

  • Ok I think i understand.

So, in theory, the minority party could have the majority of the Senators in the Senate? Of course this is highly unlikely, but it could happen?

Where I'm from all vote for the party they like every 4 years. And then parties will be dealt a certain numbers of seats in our "Senate" based on the % of votes they got in the election. So if one of ours wanted to switch, he would loose his place in the "Senate", and another one from his previous party would step up.

  • Well what I think you mean to say (and you would be correct) is that a party can control the White House and not the Senate.

  • Yes that was a better way of putting it. Has that happened before? How will the power distribution be then? I guess a president has a lot of power on his own without the support of the Senate?

We have a PM, not a President. And he is virtually powerless, its his party that is the power, and that power comes directly from the number of seats in the "Senate". So if a ruling party could loose those seats...the country would be in a power vacuum, or at least 100% dependent on bipartisanism :)

  • Thanks by the way! :)

  • Watch "The Obama Deception" in HQ! This is the truth about Obama that you must know!

  • CommonSense, while I hate addressing any person on YouTube, as it smacks of arrogance... You should not be so quick to make assumptions. Carlin was a caring, loving, and genuinely intelligent man, whom cared for the common good, if you were to ever view his actual behavior in his life outside of the stage... as well, this is incredibly easily divined if any legitimate effort is put into examining his character. R.I.P.

  • "Climate Control"...hmm, talking about contrails etc...?

  • The GOP is in the shitter and that's where it should be as long as the fundies dominate that party.

  • phil specter gets a pardon, and now he's a senator. only in america!

  • everyone use to talk about how dumb dan quayle was, biden has him beat by a mile, everytime he opens his mouth he makes a fool of himself

  • Both Quayle and Palin have said things far dumber than Biden. Biden opens his mouth and gets his foot in it occasionally. But none of the shit he says is actually retarded. Not his advice on travel, not a joke about a judge (maybe a stupid joke but that doesn't make you stupid) or anything else. It's just not his place to say those things.

  • Well the weasle Arlen Specter is NOW in the correct party. He voted with the Dems most of the time. He really ticks me off though because I wasted many a vote on this Benedict Arnold. In my opinion the Dems can have him. He is only making this decision for his own best interests, because he would loose on the Republican ticket!

  • @smsalapek

Actually he voted with the dems 35% of the time. And if he wants a snowballs chance in hell of getting nominated he'll become at least as much of a democrat as he was a republican (meaning he'll have to flip his votes) maybe even moreso.

  • I'm glad we have a good president...I'm farther left in my opinions but I think Obama is the best president we can have in these times...I'm hoping his presidency will be the vestibule into an era where people wake up become more aware and move to support the Green party and its pillars..I pray the opposite doesn't occur, that people take Obama's more liberal presidency and achievements for granted, then focus on any errors, and decide to swing back to the republicans..this is all speculative

  • Youtube/google NEW WORLD ORDER!! illuminati, freemasons, skull and bones!

YOUR GOVERNMENTS NOT WORKING FOR YOU!!

  • that was to mayo four

  • Comment removed

  • I hear some in the GOP say that in addition to Specter the Dems can take McCain too....and Snow as well...and Mendez as well....I guess these neo-cons won't be happy til they get down to 10 or fewer Senators.

  • Sen. Specter was always the Sell-Out you couldn't count on!

He's generally attached himself to Judiciary Committees were he could do maximum damage,

He brags of his 29 years in the Senate as if it were a "positive thing"

Get a clue Arlen, when you've been in Washington for over 20 years YOU are the problem!

    Sen. Specter was the youngest

Warren Commission member he created the discredited "Single Bullet Theory"

he helped botch the investigation into Kennedy's death, I've never trusted him

  • Biden and Secter are both piles of shit.

  • If that were true, you and they would have something in common. This comment tells me you are not now, nor will you ever be a fraction of the human being either of these great Statesmen or our President are. Since they're far too good and noble to respond to you in kind, I will. FUCK YOU FACCIST BITCH!!

  • A response like that shows your true liberal colors, and a lack of education. P.S. biden and specter are, I cant think of two more uneducated people, with no common sence, unless you add in that faciast, socialist piece of garbage obama, and that nimwit pelosi

  • Why?

  • Judas at least betrayed Christ for money. Arlen is doing it for pure political expediency. The Republicans should make an example of him real quick.

  • @Common

It's nice to see how typical republicans like yourself see betrayal for money as more noble as public service, so typical.

  • Betrayal is wrong regardless of the rewards. There is nothing noble about what Spector did.

  • I think I would agree, but lets also note Specter's supporters became democrats before he did. And they have every right to.

  • He received support from the Republicans to serve as a Republican. The only noble thing would be to resign and then run as a Democrat.

  • @Commom

But he wasn't elected by republicans but by the people of Pennsylvania. Maybe you are right and he should resign and then run. I certainly would have no qualms with it. I don't care if he gets primaried and beaten either. Just so long as Toomey doesn't even get to pretend to be a senator (and he wont).

  • He was supported and financed by the Republicans. He took that support and now wants to switch parties.

  • @Common

Even though I see no reason why Specter as a moderate should punish himself over the marginalization and extremism of the rest of his party I think indeed a resignation and a special election would be the most honorable thing to do. So yeah I think I agree.

  • Republicans are only being marginalized by those who are like Spector. If the party were truly conservative and government that way, we would never lose elections.

  • @Common

Hmmm so you seem to subscribe to the new 'wishfull thinking' RNC strategy now? Interesting. You know these liberal concepts of infrastructure spending, stimulus, minimum wage laws, amnesty, temporarily nationalizing banks, science funding, education funding, diplomacy, regulating greenhouse gasses (even if it harms the economy, which it won't in the long run), and so on all have popular support. Most of them by big margins and most of them increasing.

    Shocking reality I know.

  • Oh forgot perhaps the biggest: nationalized healthcare is also popular. I don't even agree with all of them (well actually I do but I would put a footnote under amnesty.. first secure the border) but I'm just pointing out how far outside the mainstream conservative policy actually is. The notion that you can win with a Pat Toomey in the blue states is ridiculous.

  • Heck even Gay marriage which is swiftly getting more support. One of the last bastions of conservative popular support has become a majority in two of the most recent polls. I think they are outliers but there is no doubt at all that it's inevitable.

  • Never trust the polls. John Kerry did and lost.

  • Kerry only won the exit polls not the normal polls.

But you are right close polls should not be relied upon, polls always comes second to actually getting elected and getting in government.

Of course we already own the entire government. Those polls are dire for you. This isn't even a centre left country by traditional standards but just a plain left country.

  • You keep believing the media and we will see. Most Americans think and live their lives as practical conservatives. The Republicans failed to government as they had promised.

  • @Common

"Most Americans think and live their lives as practical conservatives."

    And believe in liberal principles.

"The Republicans failed to government as they had promised."

    Because their ideology guarantees failure.

Anyway you can't spin those polls or the electorate however you like. You can keep insisting it's a center-right nation but you have nothing to base that on while I have the elections and popular opinion on my side.

  • People need to be educated. When they understand that they are being lied to, they will reject liberalism every time. Nationalized healthcare would mean rationed, poor quality care for everyone, except the rich.

  • "nationalized healthcare would mean rationed, poor quality care for everyone, except the rich."z

How Ironic appears you have no knowledge of all the other UHC systems around the world. America has the lowest life expectancies of the developed world, highest child mortality and only Canada has worse waiting lines. And yet it costs twice as much per capita as the other systems and covers 85% instead of 100%. UHC is better in every way.

  • Who do you produces all the break through drugs and treatments? Where do people come for the finest care in the world? Your statistics are little bit screwed. Our costs more because we have more to offer people. Naturally we will spend more. High child mortality rate has to do with the behavior of our people, not the quality of our medical care. We have a higher standard of living, more overweight, and other things. UHC is not going to change that at all.

  • well, i cant find the exact comment, it seems ipbalkende has been having fun with you.

But, ill give you an example where socialism has worked, its all in one word. Sweden.

where does it say in the constitution or the deceleration, that this country was founded on christian principals, the (original) 11th amendment almost made us a christian nation, but it never passed. and im pretty sure Thomas Jefferson was atheist or agnostic. (claimed religion was a mental sickness)

  • Socialism never works. Socialized medicine only works when a nation can count the US to continue to develop all the new drugs and treatments. No company is going to invest one billions dollars to develop and market a new drug unless they are able to recoup their costs of R & D.

Quick question, how companies in the World create, manufacture, and sell vaccines today?

  • actually socialism does work, its being practiced in Sweden, and they're doing good, in fact we owe them money. you cant just say it doesnt work, you gotta prove it. (hannity, beck and O'reilly are hardly credible sources for your opinions)

when you use UHC, your taxes pay your medical bills, not you, the direct source these companies would get money would change, (probably lower a somewhat)so, they could still keep researching, and theres also this."The money is in the treatment, not the cure"

  • So you are saying that I should trust that the government is going to fund the right research into the right drugs and therapies. You have more faith in the government than it deserves.

Tell me, how many NEW DRUGS have come out of Sweden in the last 20 years? How many people actually live there in comparison to the US?

  • i hate the 500 limit.

how can you have a small government but a large defense without raking up the deficit even higher. also, Lazez Faire(i dont speak french, but im sure you know what i meant) doesn't work, this economic crisis and the 1929 one proves it.

and for the abortion part, im going to quote a stand-up by the name of george carlin.

"i like to take these people, only give them minimum wage, have them raise a family, and then see their opinion on abortion."

  • It is the task of the Federal government to maintain the military and defend our nation. It is not the Federal government responsibility to fix every individual's problems and provide their personal needs.

As for George Carlin, he is an idiot. Abortion is about one thing and one thing only. It is not finances, or abused/neglected children. It is about murdering an unborn child for the mere convenience of the woman. Over 30 millions children are aborted, and we still have those problems.

  • ya, but pro-life extremists can be very stupid and hypocritical, i suggest you look into the murder of Dr. Gunn.

Oh, and i'd like to watch you raise a family on minimum wage, unable to get a education cause you need to earn money to pay for food Etc. and carlin was Hardly an idoit.

  • First, I am not stupid enough to put myself in that circumstance. I got an education. Being lazy and stupid is hardly a justification for murdering an unborn child. Should we just let them shoot a kid or two if they lose their minimum wage job?

I have worked several jobs at one time to make ends meet. I use contraceptives to prevent having children I could not afford. Carlin was an vulgar idiot. Being funny is not the same as being smart.

  • what if they never had a chance to get an education, no scholarship and a no family that can afford it, with a kid, i'd love to see you get an education, and its people like You who called obama an elitest..

"I believe this world has been doomed ever since we left it in charge of the priests and traders" -George Carlin

Ya, thats the stupidest shit ive ever heard. (sarcasm)

Well, i'd love to see you, Get an education, work a full time and raise a kid all at the same damn time.

  • Again, I have worked for EVERYTHING I HAVE. I came from a large poor family. I worked when there was no real minimum wage. I did not knock up any girls. I finished high school. I went to college and worked at the same time. Whether President Obama is an elitest or not, I have no opinion. I am more concerned about his socialism.

  • what if you Did get a girl pregnant, i'd like to see you go to college then!

also, lets look at a comparsion of equality, theres a famous popstar in sweden (cant remember her name, but she toured with madonna) (side note: im not into pop)

    Swedish Popstar: A decent Apartmant

American Popstar (michael jackson): a big ass mansion

(same talent, and the only ability was singing, can you see which one might be a bit more fair?)

  • If I had I would have done the right thing and cared for my child. Why punish the child for what I did?

You seem to love to make excuses for people. The two greatest predictors of poverty in America are drop out of high school and getting pregnant. Both of these are under the control of the individual.

Again, I don't want the government determining my future for me. I want to control my own life and have the liberty to live and succeed as I desire.

  • -but then you wouldnt get an education getting a bad job. and the cycle begins, and besides you never had to do to that. so...i doubt you'd understand. (i dont fully understand, but i have the capability of sympathizing.)

Oh, and also, if you get aborted, You Wont Remember. (chances are circumcision hurts more, which i fortunately dont remember)

  • You have totally missed the point. We have had abortion now for decades. We have killed over 30 million unborn children. Yet we still have poverty and unwanted children.

Lots of people make mistakes and then go to college. Excuses are just that excuses.

  • i love it when people refuse to answer hypotheticals.

  • You lumped a lot of things together that on NOT liberal concepts exclusively. However some of our problems today are caused by some of them. For example, the raising of the minimum. No one is talking about the effect that this had in causing the recession. Artificially raising everyone's wages increases prices and unemployment. I don't think there is popular support for amnesty. There is not for a $3,000 increase in utility costs.

  • @commen

Actually support for a path to citizenship for illegals (what the right calls Amnesty) is almost as overwhelming as the greenhouse gas regulations. 70%.

  • Both of their plans for the economy is to spend, spend, spend, and Obama is just of much of a war hawk as Bush. He said he'd get us out of Iraq ASAP, then he said he's keeping about 50k troops there for another two years, which was pretty much Bush's plan. They have their differences, sure, but in the end they're both politicians and they both care deeply about staying in power, keeping their money, and returning favors to the people who got them elected.

  • From a lifelong Pennsylvanian, I say: "Go Pat Toomey!"

  • Where? Down to defeat, much like his brethren nationwide?

  • Hey, I joined the rat club. I was always a secret member. My name is spineless specter!

  • I look for Senator Mendez of Florida to flip next.

  • Don't buy into the two party system, it is a classic system of divide and conquer. They either serve the people or serve the money. Every guy on that stage serves the money. Like Obama trying to hand over our currency and taxation to a central bank that will tax the basic necessities of life. Like breathing. They are eugenicists, and mass murderers. Don't trust me, check it out yourself.

  • One more flip flopping scumbag joins the democrats. Nothing new.

  • Wow, three supreme badasses in the same frame. I am in awe.

  • Bwahahaahahaha! Still Laughing at this...

  • He did it to ensure his re-election, thats all.

  • He's a rat, a liar and an opportunist. Nobody should ever vote for him again.

  • Maybe he actually thinks independently instead of mindlessly wearing a badge of affiliation to a school of thought that is clearly bankrupt?

  • a "school of thought"? You mean like liberalism?

Maybe he just wanted to be re-elected since he had no longer that opportunity against the other Republican candidate?

  • geodesicks... I agree.

  • Would Ronald Reagan walk over to the other side if he lived today, and was in the same position as Senator Specter? Reagan was a moderate republican that was a democrat before, like Specter... would be curious... (would be shocking as well if that could have happened!)

  • Democrats have become Republicans and Republicans did not complain. They can't have it both ways~

  • they are the SAME!

  • I agree.

  • The far-right GOP extremists are chasing millions of moderate Republicans over to the Democratic side.

When Limbaugh and Hannity took over my party... I became an Independent.

  • "The far-right GOP extremists are chasing millions of moderate Republicans over to the Democratic side."

I was a moderate republican before I was old enough to vote. What scared me away was not the republican ideals, but the lack there of. Republicans are just as bad as liberals at times. It's all just a game for them.

No republican with half a brain is scared to the liberal side, but to the independent side yes. The liberal side is the side of government control and they are proud of it.

  • Please call everyday the White House @1-202-456-1414 and ask the president to enact HR 676 now and email WH daily and go to my barack obama . com and make comments please ?

  • watch?v=LZzhHJFVe88

  • 2009 is beginning of the end of GOP!

  • Welcome to the good guys.

  • Good bye and good riddens.

  • I give Obama a B+

  • sad

  • At least Sen. Spector is honest about his reason for switching parties.

  • Universal health Care is one BIG REASON ! have ya read his states health Care ? I like Vermonts , Bernie Sanders .I wish the President would get on the ball with HR676 18,000 and one million Americans will DIE this year from no health care and another Million more from Lack of ..

  • I agree with you wholeheartedly....that is the one area on which I disagree w/ the President....non-profit health care would be no different than police, fire and education services...all of those are paid for via taxpayers...and no rationing or anything else of that sort has resulted from publicly funded police and fire depts and teachers.

  • I bet good money that there are some bills being hastily written tonight! No doubt the rubber stamp is being polished. Lets get rid of all executive power to preemptively invade without senate approval. Checks and balances anyone?

  • he needs to e thinking about the virus

  • yep

  • Leaving aside the fact that what you are saying is wholly inappropriate, I just have to ask: What do you hope to gain from making a statement such as this? You impugn your own character here, wildly signaling that you are a troglodyte who has nothing to add to any mature discussion. The only effect that you might have is to inspire scoffs and replies to point out that you are stupid. No one can respond to your comment because you haven't made one.

  • What you've done has a sum total of less than nothing. You're not going to win any converts to your side, and you're only going to find people as stupid and meaningless as you to troll YouTube comment boards. I hope you re-evaluate your life, and stop being a moron. If you haven't noticed that there is no room left on the world for such outmoded thinking you have not been paying attention at all. Why bother to pretend you know anything?

  • chill the fuck out he's a troll ¬_¬

  • Really? I hadn't noticed. Thank you for opening my eyes to the fact that not everyone is genuine or wholesome. I will now retire to build a statue in your honor. Thanks!

  • And now you're trolling me... *sigh*

Don't reward him by giving him attention, seriously.

  • The Democrats are THE ONLY party who've EVER done ANYTHING great for our country! Everytime a Republican comes into presidential office or into the Senate - they just screw our nation & disregard our people! Americans have had enough of Republicans ruining the great nation of the United States of America! WAY TO GO SENATOR SPECTER - GREAT DECISION!!

    YES WE CAN!!!

    =)

  • What a bunch of crap and Specter is looking out for himself and not the people of Pennsylvania which I happen to be one of. I do not want people such as Specter to run part of the government., good riddance to him. Now maybe we can have a "Real Republican"!

  • " Now maybe we can have a "Real Republican"!"

Hahah in Penn? Maybe you can have a real LIBERAL if the NRC continues to shoot ads for them in Penn (hilarious how they've painted Specter i a bad light by highlighting his campaign with Bush and his EFCA vote).

  • Specter is nothing but a "Flip Flopper" he's just going home to his original party a "Democrat" through and through. He does what he feels is going to save his butt in an election. I hope he fails and as a Pennsylvanian I will do what I can to make him fail. He is 79 and we need new ideas anyway. He is nothing but a "Benedict Arnold", I have no respect for him at all as far as a Senator. What a wasted voted.

  • If you really want to get rid of him you better register democrat because that is the only chance you'll get.

  • Well as long as Specter keeps voting for gun rights, He will have my vote. But we will see.

  • YES! Medical Research!!!! We need more funding! Look forward to all the hard work from such courageous figures.

  • My Boy: Specter!

  • Joe Biden, forgot all about him. Good to see you bro.

  • Rush Limbaugh & Glenn Beck must be aggravated LOL.

  • check us out.......NOW AMERICA

  • Specter is older. He should look into this brain chip to help alzheimer's patients. CHECK MY SITE.

  • that is nice, changing swines so he can get another term.

not a prob AR, if you get slapped please do not forget to try as an independent.

  • hi everybody

  • obama is talking now

  • BARACK OBAMA!!!

    i just twittered :)

  • THANKS A LOT YOU PIECE OF CRAP. OMFG, WE HAVE NO REPRESENTATION ANYMORE. SCREW YOU YOU BACKSTABBING D-BAG. omfg

  • Sir, I am too drunk to do anything but point and laugh at your suffering. BAHAHAHAHAHA!

  • maybe if your party wasn't a racist, homophobic, sexist, and close-minded party whose only capability seems to be able to say "No!" and doesn't have any ideas of their own, you would have representation.

Arlen Spector is absolutely doing this for political reasons, but you're party's submission to its rightest wing has caused this.

  • Right on

  • Legalize It ☮

    Pennsylvania

  • this is looney tunes

  • I don't like this at all. He should run as a Repub which he is. If he wins the Democratic primary then we will have two Repubs running against each other in the general. That is a lose/lose for the Democrats and a win/win for the Repubs. This guy needs to stay Repub or retire IMO.

  • say wut?

  • Specter is only a Democrat until he is reelected. Then he will change his skin to Repub. He is only trying to win an election and is not planning on being a Democrat or voting with Democrats.

  • LEGALIZE MARIJUANA.

  • Go Pennsylvania

  • Welcome Arlen

  • This guy has been in the Senate for 30 years already. That shouldn't even be allowed. There are very few true republicans or democrats anymore. It doesn't matter what party you vote for. Your gonna get the same garbage either way. Ron Paul was the only candidate that would have done things right. Obama and his "Wall Street" cabinet are just as bad, if not worse than Bush. Wall Street greed controls everything. Geithner, Bernanke, Paulson, Greenspan...the list goes on and on!!!

  • Maybe I'm a conspiracy theorist for thinking so, but I agree. I don't see much of a difference between Bush and Obama.

  • you dont?, from canada it does look different, he is taking a better path towards the future, science started to be important again in the US, other leaders are listening to americans again, and the islamic world is more respectful of mr barack hussain obama.

  • im not a fan of joe biden though. he seems like that friend of a famous guy trying to get faymouss himself

  • Can't wait till the Fairness Doctrine gets implement so............................ there will finally be some Fairness on this channel.

  • lolpolitics

  • Say goodbye to the Republicans.

  • Nice

  • Agreed!

  • Republicans keep playing to the hardliners they are doomed unless they learn some common sense

  • I notice how my comment about the government ordering a "photo op" in NYC gets removed but a racist comment on Obama doesn't.

  • woo! OBAMA!

  • Top 5 Republicans

    1. Rush Limbaugh

    2. Michelle Bachmann

    3. Sean Hannity

    4. Sarah Palin

    5. Newt Gringrich (spelling?)

  • do you like those guys cause you just made a list of the biggest idiots in politics

  • I dislike them all, im just listing the biggest names in the repuplican party. now that specter is gone...that party is doomed.

  • specter was hardly a "big name" in the republican party. in fact, he was probably the most disliked senator, and most republicans have wanted him to go for a long time, especially after he voted for the stimulus bill without even reading it. good luck with him, hes not in it for the people, hes in it for his own personal gain.

  • The Republican party is not doomed. Your listening too much to the lame stream media! The political party control of the White House, Senate and the house eb and flow in the election cycle just as it did for Democrats. And once America see's the full "scope and scale of the Obama Administration and the Democrats I believe we will have many more Republicans back in the leadership because as it is now we are heading for destruction.

  • Look, im not a liberal, theres a flaw with both conservatives and liberals.

Conservatives = Believe this is a christian nation and use every opportunity to make it so.

Liberals = Most Arguments are based off of personal feelings and can not look at the big picture

(for the record, i support libertarianism, and socialism, since they both work)

  • "(for the record, i support libertarianism, and socialism, since they both work)"

Ah so you're a liberal with a twisted view of liberalism. Welcome to the team!

  • Conservatives are not trying to make this a Christian nation. We recognize that we are a nation founded on the concept of God though. We do not believe that the separation of church and state means the separation of God and the state. The more godless a nation becomes, the worse things will get.

  • actually this nation was founded on the idea of equality. (the original patriots fought against the oppression of the king so they could have their "Natural" rights back)

people let go of their bibles when they set slaves free.

People let go when they gave women rights.

People let them go when they gave blacks civil rights

and will let them go when gay marriage is completely in all the states.

"i like your Christ, but i do not like your Christians, they are so unlike your Christ" -Gandhi.

  • @common sense

Actually the most religious nations are also the shittiest nations while the most secular are the best. That's why even republicans and conservatives encourage secularism in their foreign policy. I'd rather cash my lot in with Scandinavia and Japan than with Iran or Iraq or the countless other bankrupt Christian and Muslim nations. And we do as a matter of policy.

  • Well I happen to disagree with you, this country was founded on Christian principles, but that is not all that Republicans represent. Read your history.

Republicans believe in "smaller government, a strong defense, lower taxes and not all of this over the top spending. They believe in the "right to life" who among us has the right to say this person or that person can live or die "as in baby's! Please give me an example where socialism "EVER" Worked! I say it does NOT.
