I got my tounge stuck on a pole thinking it woulnt but we had to pour hot water on it and pull and it bled for a while because a small small part, just the size of maybe 3 tastebuds, of my toung came off.
want the long story? ok. the reason your tounge sticks to METAL when tis cold is cause theyre water/spit on ur tounge and it freezes when it touches metal cause metal holds in cold good, then u gotta pry ur icicle of a tounge off cause its a solid hold between u and the pole. :) LOL
