Got this on PC Engine, it is a good game. Hard though, despite me being a Jezzball master!

so do you have a ntsc tv to play your mega drive games on or are you using a pal tv? i always get confused with that stuff like how i can plaug jap. stuff in here in usa but not pal? i dunno lol

Yeah my TV is NTSC compatible, it uses the PAL & NTSC signal :-)

Was this game released in PAL format mate? I really like the look of this game. Reminds me of an old Speccy game called Potty Painter. Would love to get a copy! Cheers ;o)

Dont think so mate, it was released in the USA though as "Ultimate Qix" :-)

Ah, Qix. You can never go wrong with this, I seem to remember playing this all the time on the gameboy, even if it doesnt look nearly as fun as this version!

I was overdelighted when I saw that one of the classes in Rockstars "Bully" was basicly playing Qix!

Its when you have Arts-class! The minigame in that is to uncover a painting using the Qix-technique!

Ian, see if you can upload another video of this game where we can see later levels. Is the gameplay different as you progress to the next stage?

The gameplay pretty much stays the same matey, there's options in the menu where you can fiddle about with a few things.

The reason I dont do 9/10 minutes videos for each game is that they take 3hrs to upload each when in HD!!! My laptop has been on all day uploading videos- think it needs a rest! lol :-)

The Sony Ericsson T300 i had years ago had a game just like this! It was so addictive, wish i could remember the name of it :)

The game for the T300 should be be named Qix, or something similar. Thats at least what the "original" game was called! Hope it helped a bit at least!

another top quality game mate! i really need to get back into collecting japanese mega drive games!

i'm into collecting us super nintendo stuff atm, as i've been looking thru release lists and noticed there's a few things i still don't have that are easy to obtain, so i'm looking to fill those gaps in. i've got some packages on the way and i *think* i've finally found a method of recording myself that actually works.

so... real life videos coming soon? who knows! :'D

that's exactly why i want to do it mate. it's only the past four months (even though i've been signed up for three years) that i've actually started to participate in the community a little more, with leaving comments + watching everything people i've subbed post. it feels like i'm missing out only posting games with no commentary and not posting video of myself :(

so... thanks to everyone here, it seems like there's going to be another person obsessing over posting videos, hehe.
