  • But also apparently incredibly fucking funny.

  • So frickin' harsh.

  • nope didn't make me wanna hit you but did make me laugh lol.

    wicked acting though =D

  • Dude that's so weird... right after this video I kicked your ass!

  • Poor guy got beat up by Macaulay Culkin.

  • Great beginning but it does desperately require the next chapter/s to be added.

As it stands this has nothing to do with Banduras Bobo doll experiment at all.

Pity as the camera work etc is good and had it been a complete representation of the experiment I would have used it in my classes.

As it stands, if this was your understanding of the experiment you would not even get the simple AO1 'describe' points in an exam.

    MUST do better.

  • ... so was this the control group's viewing where no punishment or reward was administered to the individual displaying the aggressive behaviour? LOL

great acting... i think i'm watching the wrong video tho hahahaha

  • You know what? This is... so genius.

The fact that you guys think that this is a big waste of time is just ambrosia. I love it.

  • Bollocks!!!!! I agree, a total waste of time.

  • What exactly is the point of this?

  • And would you believe people watch this crap and wasting their 3:38 min of their life!!

  • fail

  • buahaha, beautiful concept.

xD Way to make it work.

  • It was invented by Albert Bandura.

  • it was invented to avoid this kind of behaviour in our society and to be good role models so that the younger generation can follow and continue passing on the good behaviour!

  • This assumes that behaviour is inherited rather than based on emotions which are biochemical.

This is actually a re-incarnation of the nature Vs nurture argument. In the end, both have a role to play.

It was recently discovered that parts of your brain inherit anywhere between 45-100% of connection fibre qualities.

  • this is absolutely awful!

Did you two even know what the experiment was!!?? For a start it was a woman, second it wasn't one guy being beaten up in ahall way for 3 and a half minutes, there were 3 different endings and it was an actual psychological experiment not two guys trying to act something they obviously have no clue about!

  • Clearly you completely missed the point of this experiment, Bandura's experiment, and the entire concept of modeling. Go back to PSYC101.

  • That was a complete waste of time!!!!

  • dat was pathetic

    wot losers

  • This would have been a better experiment if you had some sort of child watching that person beat you up. Then if the child would have come in and attempted to beat you up then I would say you would have been succesful in the experiment. This could lead to some sort of twist, but it mainly didn't make me want to beat you up but to just check and see if you were ok.

  • hahahah my teacher played this in class thinking this was the real thing, made us all laugh so hard

    Cheers haha

    x

  • Dam wat a Noob Teacher lol. Did the teacher even know the real experientment was conducted in the 60s? lol

  • By some of the aggressive responses you got, I'd say it looks like maybe your video did work to some extent. Probably not by modeling, but your spin on the experiment could lead to a really interesting study.

  • this should be banned.ıt only wastes our time.

  • Now i need a room with you in it:)

    jk

but did u read up on the experiment?

    there were 3 endings

  • I want to beat you up for wasting 3 and a half minutes watching that crap, not because of vicarious learning.

  • ok i was actually trying to find the experiment and this comes up! tuttt i need the expp!!!

  • Nice act, no i didnt want to hurt jack, I'm not a child

  • this should be banned

  • What the hell?!

  • on the contrary, this took the same concepts, we see the violence on screen, and it affects our behavior, makes us get into the violence we are seeing. Doesn't mean we're going to go out and emulate it (because in the bobo doll experiment it was a controlled setting where the children were put in the same situation as they saw in the video, some after being deprived of toys), but it shows that the effect was there.

  • ah it takes the similar concepts to the bobo doll. That was aimed at children who are still learning the right from wrong. Once at the age that most of the viewers are at, it loses it's power. We know that beating up that guy woudl be wrong and isn't a good idea. Children of the age that the original experiment was aimed at were not at that level of cognitive development yet. And before you insult be on my level of knowledge and understanding of bandura, I study child development and have ...

  • ... studied bandura and the bobo doll experiment. If anything you'd be the ones who are missing the concepts of the experiment..

  • Wow. Your understanding of the Bobo doll experiment is... um... sorely lacking!

  • the bobo doll experiment was where children saw a clip of adults attacking a bobo doll and then the children were sent into a room to see if they attacked the doll also and the majority all did. I think this clip is a lot different though as it looks fairly real (minus bad smacking effects) but the idea is after watching this does it make you want to beat up that guy aswell. The bobo doll experiment was a breakthrough in it's time but it had many flaws

  • How has this got anything to do with the bobo doll experiment?!!!
