you have to completly relax your arm and then moving your hand very slightly, dont try and move it quickly woth a lot of power thant will cime in time .

A tab is the notes of a song, but not written the same for all instruments. Tabs show the which string and what fret you have to strike. Example:

G--8---

That would mean you strike the G string(sounds dirty XD) with your finger on the 8th fret. It's as simple as that, really.
