@ClamTrafficJam28 Nismo is the performance division for Nissan like SVT is to Ford, the Nismo 370z is lighter, faster and alot more agile than the regular Z car. The Nismo is only for the hardcore track goers tho. Theres no premium package here, just pure performance at a hell of a price.

easy there, bendingninja, I had a 350Z for a couple of years and test drove a 300zx twin turbo, and I gotta tell ya, the tt felt faster and handled like it was on rails. It's also very easy to modify since it has an iron block like the older skylines so it has the potential for lots of hp.

Are you for real? Do you have ANY idea whatsoever the power potential coming from a VG30DETT? You need to give your damn head a shake and do some research before you start bashing people on a subject you have absolutely no knowledge of. Turbo upgrades, chip, intake, exhaust and a proper tune will put a 90-99 300ZX up and over 500HP.

the 370 is real nice i love it. It is better than than the 350 in my opinion. I wish Nissan would go back to their 300zx design being I have one I would like to see them update it a little bit and realease them with the sleak styling of it.

I own a 350Z, and hes right, however i do know how to drive and i do know how to drive my Z, the only time i lost the back end and fish tailed was when it had just started to rain, the Z in the rain, is basically like driving on top of ice.

I can't believe the negative response to my post calling the Nismo 370z (~$40,000) a poor man's GT3RS ($181,678 and limited edition collector car). Both cars are trackday specials and are totally awesome. What I said was a somewhat backhanded compliment to the Z. I still think that the Nismo 370Z is kinda like a poor man's GT3RS. After I pay off my school loans I'll get a Nismo 370Z and a twin turbo kit, then I'll have a real supercar slayer.

What i would suggest is getting the wheels widened (by a custom shop) by about an inch or maybe 1.5 That way you could retain the factory look but support larger (needed!) rubber for the turbo. You might have to get the suspension modified a bit to help with any camber issues.

ya I love the Nissmo version its really hot. I'm getting the 370Z most likely a Dark silver one but I would like to get the regular Z because the drive wouldn't be that harsh but Man I love that body kit would you think that Nissmo would offer the body kit ? so I can install it on my Z

Well for the 350Z they pretty much replicated the nismo front and rear bumper so i cant see why they wouldnt. If nissan doesnt do it themselves then i would bet on an aftermarket company doing so. Either way within a year or so you might start seeing them.
