Heh, those are not bugs in fact, and the first one is a feature. I still wonder how to fight a worse thing - Undo stage bug. Messes up in case of undoing different link operations making the model transforms ruined so that the Redo command doesn't work in the desired way in order to at least bring it back, also sometimes making a heavy scripted animation just gets the Undo command disabled completely. No workaround I know of besides rapid saving )
The first one is not a bug as I realized, but how about the rest? Perspective view is wacky with cutting. No cutting allowed sometime. Double vertices? These are "features"?
Just like I said the first one is a model coordinate space redefinition thing everyone enjoys unless you have to deal with this rare and unusual requirement of transform reset (the ""bug" workaround" was more of a simple modelling example in fact). As for the rest, I didn't intend to make it yet another "this vid sux haha" post, just wanted to make it clear that those are just a few minor issues every skilled modeller has already developed ones workaround for. The worst things are tough to solve
My video was to help unskilled modelers. I agree that with experience, every skilled modeler will already know this. I am not familiar with the undo stage bug. What is going on?
the bounding box issue is not a bug.. that means the object was rotated and the bounding box shows that. if you want the bounding box to be in world orientation you go to utilities and press reset x form then collapse the object to edit mesh or poly. now the local coordinates of the object(and also the bounding box) are in world orientation.
the cut tool workaround indeed is good. i didn't try that before. tho using snaps when cutting also works nice.

Disability to read is a bug.
Anyway, those are not something to destroy hours of hard work, those just add a tricky bit everyone already has tricks to deal with.

Was that a pun? I read that you stated that what I showed are not bugs. Anyways, why are they not bugs?

cool tutorial, great narrating voice. i second the Command Panel->utilities->resetXform for your bounding boxes.

Cool, I did not know about that. This is one of the reasons I made this video, to learn the right way to do things. I stand corrected.
