  • @Wheelie9341 Thats not irony.

  • im a theist but still thinks he was awesome

  • Christopher Hitchens

  • Ironic a man who preached life was a result of mutations dying of mutations. Reality is when you face death until then you are just talking.

  • @Wheelie9341 That's not what irony means.

  • Great tribute to a most excellent man. Hitchens will long be remembered by all who value truth over a religious concoction of cruelty and bullshit.

  • Bit of a douche was Hitch

  • Wasn't Thomas Paine a deist and therefore not an atheist? Deists still believe god exists, just not that he's still around. I figured Hitchens would be more of a Spinoza guy.

  • @timmyvos112 Thomas Paine was a deist and Hitchens had no problem with that. Obviously Hitchens was an atheist, so differed from Paine on the matter of initial causation. But as an "anti-theist", Hitchens was not an anti-deist.

Einstein was a Spinoza guy, but he had a more evolved soul than Hitchens, and so was much more in touch with the sense of the mystical. Einstein was more gentle and wise than Hitchens.

  • @endofscene When did Paine make such a declaration?

  • @TheReboundingWorld No idea.

  • HITCH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wow... respect. You're slowly but surely pulling me towards becoming a fan, Dan :P

  • The bible? Great story book.

  • I would read the bibible but I beleve in magic (harry potter )

  • @AngryNinjaMovies #itsrealforus

  • Gentlemen, let us raise our glasses.

  • you know Dan i love your music but this whole anti God thing you do from time to time is alittle irritating are you trying to cause an uproar or something

  • @ThundrKnight

    It's a tribute.

    Nobody cares if you're offended.

  • @ThundrKnight It shouldn't offend anyone because no ones opinion on anything should be changed because of one person and they shouldn't take it to offense because other people have opinions to.

  • @ChocobosRoc

you are by far the must intellectual critique if had yet

  • @ThundrKnight Thanks? anyway I feel it's stupid that people are putting you down for not liking someone who might be atheist it's your opinions on the person if they don't care about why are they all responding.

  • @ThundrKnight This isn't directed to offend anyone. It's a tribute to Hitchens who passed away recently.

  • @ThundrKnight you must be extremely insecure in your belief if you cannot even see past the fact that he makes a video for one of the greatest critiquers and debaters of our age.

and if that causes an uproar, then fine. go unsubscribe. im sure dan can survive without the ignorant zeal of religious people.

  • @allblue88

its not that at all i know i like his music im just saying its aint a productive to mantain a fanbase

  • @ThundrKnight Oh. So the point to this video is implying of anti-relgion. You're right. This isn't directed to a dead man. Not a bit.

  • @Moppy199

    its both

  • If by soul you mean character, yes.

  • Anyone know what's up with the last 3 things he said? I know that Jonny Walker Black was Hitchens' favorite scotch, God is not Great is his book, and what a hitchslap is but why put them there as appose to some other things.

  • Read and learn God's Word The Bible

if you want to know something worthwhile.

  • @theetrue Yes, reading the bible cover to cover is the quickest way to realize god doesn't exist

  • @DaiMasters

My parents never once mentioned God or Jesus or read from the

Bible when I was growing up, but I always wanted to know

about Jesus, His miracles, life after death, everything,

    and for some people nothing would cause them to have an interest;

    Have a good day.

  • @theetrue So? That has nothing to do with what I said. Infact it almost seems as though you're saying that the more without the bible someone is the more they want to know god. Good Job.

  • @DaiMasters

Bigoted Christians also contribute a lot.

The behavior of Christians causes more people to turn away from God then people like Hitchens and Dawkins would ever dream to manage.

  • @theetrue i've read the bible i am know 60% dumber

  • @ZzTHEGAMERzZ I can tell, you spelled 'now' wrong

  • This is nice .... thank you Dan .....

  • whats that at 56 second

  • @WTFisawesome type in Christopher hitchens waterboarding

  • @WTFisawesome Water-Boarding it looks like

  • World Peace: Stop pushing your beliefs on others. I believe in God, but that doesn't mean I'm supposed to force anyone into my way of thinking. It's not my right.

  • @dreamstate83

    Thank you!

I'm athiest but it doesn't matter to me what you or anyone else believe, why can't people live like that?

  • @CSRgamer I wish it was that simple. If being a christian was like being a deist, I'd be happy for anyone who had faith, though I'd still not understand it. After all, I'm straight, but I believe in complete gay rights and don't really see why my opinion should impact who someone else can marry or have sex with. But being christian is not just a statement about you, but a statement about the world and its morality. Thus Christians often try to force their morality on others.

  • sumtin bout the way Dan raps that i just like so damn much.

  • @douglby: How the hell do you manage to do it Dan? You respectfully sum up his life in under 2 minutes with a catchy tune. It shouldn't be possible...

  • Bitch ?

  • uh oh top comments are controversial. time to change videos

  • The flying spaghetti monster ftw

  • @Saintloljk there is and we just remove it from both sides

  • Dan,

Thank you so much for introducing me to this amazing man. Your other work is also awesome although this alone is enough to warrant a subscription.

  • all "god" is, is a childs story or a myth taken to seriously. just like santaclause. why do children believe in santa? because there parents told them to. same with religion. religion and "god" was a story made up to make people feel better by having them believe lies.

  • Awesome video man. Absolutely awesome.

  • @ByakuganMaster105

Condemning someone to hell is an awfully strange way of respecting them.

  • @TheCivilizedAnarchy i'm not condeming him to hell i have no authority to do that i'm just guessing thats where he went because he never accepted god as his savior nor did he accept the holy spirit

  • @ByakuganMaster105 Well, what if, just hear me out- when we die we go to whatever afterlife we believe in? We dont know if theres an afterlife- heaven as christian people call it. We have no clue weather or not there is a "god" or any form of deity, and before you say something like "Well the bible tells us so.", you must remember, the bible was written by old ancient dead guys. But i digress.

  • @MrSpamcool yeah nobody knows for sure and the people who do are dead

  • @MrSpamcool

but then your getting into territory of defining what "god" is... god may simply be the interconnection of all concious things...

  • @SternMann93 Ramen fellow believer

  • Im spiritual...NOT religious...

  • I guess he found out the hard way about God...now he's rotting in hell

but i do respect his belifs though

  • @ByakuganMaster105 No, the flying spaghetti monster is the only truth. All other 'gods' are just shallow lies invented to mislead people from the righteous path.

  • @SternMann93 what is the righeous path?

  • A fitting salute to a genuine legend.

  • LOL this guy needs to get a record deal.

  • When the religious disrespect atheists we're assholes, hypocrites, and all other bad names, but when a atheist does it to the religious but's absolutely fine, that's real hypocrisy

  • @projmat12 Depends on your definition of what is disrespect towards each other.

  • @projmat12 oh, so when the atheists in america actually is lawfully discriminated against, then it is okay, but if we try to take out public prayer in school, we are waging a war on religion? nice hypocrisy...

  • @allblue88 i didn't say that at all, don't put words in my mouth

  • @douglby

    Hannah brought me here.

This rhyme kicked a fair amount of lyrical ass, so I am going to try some others.

Have you considered a Qi ditty? Maybe make many, each one featuring a different letter, not unlike the show?

"They say of the Acropolis where the Parthenon is..."

  • @manbeaver508

True that, sir. True That !!!

  • THE HITCH

  • I believe and believe ALLAH. Allah is ONE, is only. ALLAHU AKPER! ALLAHU AKPER! ALLAHU AKPER! Please, all people, read one time QURAN. Then you will see that QURAN was written for all times by ALLAH. Dont say anything qbout my opinion before reading QURAN. I have already read Biblle. I respect to all religion. I have to say that GOD is GREAT.

  • @arxadash God or Gods ?

Historians have cataloged over 3700 supernatural beings, of which 2870 can be considered deities. If you say “Just God”, I’ll point out that they are nearly as atheistic as me. I don’t believe in 2,870 gods, and they don’t believe in 2,869.

  • excuse me but i need to go puke.

  • Im hungry....can anyone get me a burger?

  • I'm just interested, what do you guys think his best quote was? Best/favourite will do.

    Mine would have to be:

"I don't want to live in a fucking celestial North Korea!"

  • @Ominorvas He had so many hard to answer that one.....HITCH MY TRUE WORDSMITH AND MORE

  • Atheism worst thing ever!

  • Merry Hitchmas EveryOne... !

  • Comment removed

  • Hitch may be gone, but the legacy he has left will live on..

  • dont know anything about him but saw this comment and thought it was juicy :o

"he fought a good fight against a bunch of neanderthals" (sumthin like that)

  • He was a silent guardian. A watchful protector. The Hitch!

  • RIP Hitch. Except of course he isnt resting. He has gone. Fortunatly he has left us all with a lifetime of his work and that is something that in a real sense is immortal rather than the magic fairy ideas of theism. Will miss him a lot.

  • That was fucking amazing.

  • God that man was great!

  • Ricky Gervais brought me here.

  • @ThisIsJesusChrist because my teacher was talking about how it has connection to the infinite, finite and all these other stuff... but besides that i dont know much... your right i shouldnt of said anything -____-

  • The theist mind at work:

"My original comment to him, was to show that I too could make stupid comments."

The mind of a deep thinker at work.

  • the chick in the warcraft commercial is hot as fuck

  • @ThisIsJesusChrist well that was my opinion about it, no need to be so rude.

  • Atheism FTW !

  • Added to favourites.

  • oh yeah

  • Why does the background track remind me of another song?

  • im not good in english, does he mean with the video that he liked him or not i didnt really understand

  • @Temibrezel Yes, he liked him.

  • I love you.

  • why was he being tortured?

  • @AnonymousFLo He was doing it show whether or not waterboarding is actually torture. He soon came to the conclusion that it was.

  • @AnonymousFLo Please read about this man,,,,,debates and books,,,,,Christopher Hitchens

  • Now that was fucking amazing. Pure Grammy level lyricism. Dan Bull for the Grammy's! Let's hear more Atheism Rap!

  • Oh yeah, that's what I'm talking about.

  • Hitch I think had a good idea if there was no religion then a lot of wars would not start

  • "his hair fell away the same way his foes' fallacies faired". Brilliant!! XD

  • What was 0:54 about?

  • @burnslikezozobra He agreed to be waterboarded to prove it was torture. Brave guy!!

  • @arxadash your comment is invalid.

  • @arxadash Dan Bull is Talent, God is like the tooth fairy, Santa Claus and the Easter bunny....yes that's right made up. Granted I like the parts about looking after one another, peace ect that the Bible preaches....but so does every other religion out there. But a magical man in the sky? i think not.

  • @arxadash Naaa Not really.

  • bye bye Hitch, you will be sorely DISSED YO!

  • this is why i love being Atheist. The main reason.

  • Thank you for rapping about SOPA. @DJscappy thanks for suggesting he rap about SOPA.

  • Haha, switch beat put to good use. Great lyrics!

  • isnt this beat from switch, will smith? jc

  • HaloZero147 - someone said in and earlier post that Hitch was an extremist. And on consideration I suppose he was, he was intolerant and belligerent, bellicose and opinionated. But I for one, loved him for that, as most don't have the intellectual rigor, or learning to stand behind what they say, and Hitch did. If you got Hitchslapped you stayed Hitchslapped.

  • @michaelivingstone Hitchen was an extremist, but he had the wit, intellect and the knowlegde to stand up to his arguments. he might not allways be right, but there was evidence to back him up, and he believed every word he said.

  • 1:06 he says 'johhnie' walker black, however it is blatantly johnnie walker red label whisky in the pic *tut tut*

  • Wonderfully positive

  • whats the song his rapping too

  • Respect to you douglby, both hitchens and SOPA. subscribed.

  • He was an extremist, but he was our extremist, one that despised religions and said so.

  • @michaelivingstone How the fuck can you say that?

  • @michaelivingstone Yeah well at least he didn't blow anyone up. You're exactly right, he despised religion and said so, for plenty of good reasons. Creationist extremists try to take proper science out of schools, Islamic extremists blow people up, Christian/Catholic extremists in developing countries kill women and children as suspected "witches", but Hitchens an atheist "extremist" wrote books and debated. "God" forgive us for using our brains to solve problems and speak out

  • @Trisbreya A+

  • @michaelivingstone So sorry I just completely misunderstood that, I didn't see the "our extremist" part. My point still stands though, I laugh at the phrase "militant atheist".

  • excellent...Hitch would love it. 'cept hes dead.

  • I LOVE YOU !!!!!!!!! MARRY ME !!!!

  • great song

  • I just can't stop listening to this!

  • hitchens :[[[

  • I watched a video today where the late Christopher Hitchens stated Bin Laden was sent into Afghanistan in the 80s by "a Saudi con-- mumble" (I presume he meant construct but the crowd laughter makes it hard to be sure) and he then went on to suggest that the CIA had "absolutely no influence" over the Mujaheddin at that time. The Saudi's actually publicly executed any Mujaheddin they managed to catch and Bin Laden was funded and assisted by the CIA, and Ronald Reagan in person.

  • Is it just me, or does it seem like ALL of the cool people on the internet are atheist? :D

  • @artuno1207 this is a true statement lol.

  • @artuno1207 Lol yeah

  • @artuno1207 like hu? is dan bull atheist?

  • @6efektif2008 some of the lyrics could sound like dan bull is not atheist, allthough it is uncommon for christians to so revere an outspoken atheist like hitchen. i greatly admire both hitchen and dan bull though

  • @artuno1207 It seems that way because it is indeed, an in actuality a fact.

And no, its not just you. : )

  • @artuno1207

    Nope.avi

  • @artuno1207 That's because atheists are mostly the only cool people.

  • @artuno1207 Because most intelligent people are Atheist (no offense but whether you see it as right or not there is an incomparable difference in intelligence and education) and with intelligence comes comedy and stage presence.

  • @artuno1207 mostly its because atheist are more open-minded, but if you go deep in to the study's of quantum physic, there's gonna be a point where you say "there has to be a god".

  • @valmanzar16 Although you relation to Quantum mechanics was completley irrelevant and an attempt a pseduo-inte..blah From what ive learnt so far (EXTREME basics of quantum physics... and im talking very basics...but still beyond the common knowledge) i would judge that it makes me believe further there is no god.

  • @tomwiddv2 or you could try using logic to argue the point of there being no god.

  • @MrUnderscoreh Oh i do, ive had many many debates/arguements and logic is the grounding of it. Atheism is basically and anagram of logic.

  • @valmanzar16 God of the Gaps on the quantum level, congrats.

  • @artuno1207 I think all the cool people in life are atheist.

  • @artuno1207 No. I'm Christian and I kick ass.

  • @PhantomGamer100 So you are Christian?

Definition of Christianity: the belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree.

  • @csadler Definition of atheism: The belief that by a freak accident all of reality came in to existence, then by freak chance inanimate material became living material. Then by freak chance that living material began to form into different material. That by freak chance began to change even more and evolve.

  • @ZillasElite Epic fail. While I can point to YOUR book, you know the bible, where all this nonsense comes from; your statements are pulled from thin air and have nothing to do with the 'non' belief of any invisible man in the sky. Or another way: Many Christians understand and accept evolution, but no atheists accept the bible. Love it!

  • @csadler Actually, my comments were a joke from the scientific beliefs of today.

Which is the big bang theory. The one theory where life came from nothing by random mixture of chemicals (can't remember what it's called) Minor evolution (Such as the one found on bugs) And major evolution, monkey into w/e into man.

So no they were not "pulled from thin air" I just happen to know more then you. And I do accept evolution "as a possibility" but I do not think it happened. Epic fail back at ya

  • @ZillasElite What I see from you is a total lack of understanding of science. Not a clue - negative - less than zero. I'll take fries with that order - thanks.

  • @ZillasElite "I just happen to know more then you"

My farts contain more knowledge than you. You said:

    - The one theory where life came from nothing by random mixture of chemicals (can't remember what it's called)

    - Minor evolution

    - major evolution

    - monkey into w/e into man.

    - I do accept evolution "as a possibility" but I do not think it happened

If you read a book a week (science), in about 1 year you might just be able to hold a discussion with me on the topic of science.

  • @csadler Not true. I'm Atheist. I accept the bible... as a stack of paper.

problem with religion is that its used in a literal sense.. when it is only there to guide people to be decent.

  • @NotSoCheerios They took it literally only when it serves their purposes.

  • @NotSoCheerios To be Decent?

We decide what's "good" using moral intuitions hard-wired in us & refined by thousands of years. And if someone doesn’t already understand that cruelty is wrong, he won’t discover it in religion because Bible/Quran, are filled with celebrations of cruelty, both human and divine. It is preposterous to think of religion as source of morality and decency.

Genocide, racism, discrimination, genital mutilation, slavery - the biblical "decency".
