thank you so much for uploading all these PP&M performances! i was born in 1992 and i think this group made some of the greatest and most touching music that has ever happened in america. :) thanks for making it accessible!

Really made who i am today . a hippy a peacefull smart loving hippy who just wants peace pack a big bowl for the world an try to love each other all we got
Born in the late 60's. Heard Peter, Paul, & Mary my whole life. This is my all time favorite of all their really amazing songs. Thanks for uploading. Peace be with you.
@vettefool Hey, I remember the Breck girls, been a long time since I thought about that! And you're right, Mary's hair and everything else about her was magic.
@vettefool OH I LOVED HER HAIR, HER TOES, HER EYES, HER COURAGEOUS VOICE, HER UNDYING SPIRIT, HER SWEETNESS, HER TIME SHE GAVE TO US ON THIS EARTH. AND I MISS HER SO MUCH
I so remember watching these3 amazing people, & like so many guys, falling hopelessly in love with Mary. Where or where did the years go ?? Wolfsky9, 65 y/o
The moral dilemmas that peace activists of the 60s faced, begin to resolve themselves once you begin to implode the desire to hate others into the noble intention of symbolically rooting out hatred itself. Weed Out Hate is a grass roots inititative that can give peace a chance by asking each of us to take responsibiliity to hammer out hatred by symbolically removing our inner weeds. Through this symbolic act, we can send a signal throughout the heavens that we shall overcome.
It's September 11, 2011 & I wanted to hear this song today especially. The promise of the 60's social activism is still alive & we need to work for "love between my brothers & my sisters" more than ever. Maybe we can make a special effort in memory of those who perished 10 years ago in act of terror. What can we do? An especially easy way is to just interact w/ others (family, friends, co-workers, strangers) with RESPECT, especially the precious children among us. PEACE & LOVE TO ALL.
@cschoon1213 Lyssna på inspelningen från Newport Festival 1963. Det är engagemang! Listnen to the recording from Newport Festival 1963! THAT is engagement!
Today, there are "fresh" riots across the Atlantic. More struggles for respect and freedom, too long denied. At the risk of sounding corny, I needed to hear this uplifting tribute to love, freedom and brotherhood. I hope many of you are sharing these life affirming songs with your children and grandchildren. Peace & Love, Bread & Justice.
i am from this century (i am a late ninties baby born in the year of '94) but as much as i like the music we have today we dont have instrumental poetry anymore. thats really what this is. even up into the 80's and the 90's rockers and popers still sung out there troubles and feelings. hip-hop has its classic run in the 70's. today its just mass produced for the small children that want it.
So moving.....I can't express it in English....i když tahle písnička měla spoustu interpretů, tak jejich verze je tak opravdová...upřímná...jako kdyby to nezpívali jen pro publikum, ale pro celej svět...
Loved you Mary. Was there with you at the Viet Nam Protests, the Civil Rights Marches and the Migrant workers strikes. Sing to the Angels and wait for all those who loved you dearly. Goodnight sweet Mary. Will miss you terribly.
That must have been great to experience that. I was too young to have been to the Nam protests and the Civil Rights Marches but my heart has been with them all along anyway. ~~~ Chuck
Haha:D We sing it in our school choir^^
