  • Thank you, guys.

    From Brazil!

  • beathifuel woman

  • Fantastic! thanks so much!

I played this after a couple hours of practice. My wife was very impressed. She'll probably keep me for another 24 years as who can resist a guy and his guitar. I'm going to put this on my 'must practice list' at least a couple minutes a day. I'm determined to get into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame before my 75th birthday...only 20 years to go.I'll be sure to give you a big (deserved) thanks on stage when I give my speech.

    Much appreciated from Canada

  • Thanks. I've never really been into rock but your lesson opened up a bunch of new doors. You have a good way on concentrating on what I want to learn or have explained instead of 'going over our heads' as many lessons do.

    Thanks and much, much appreciated!

  • Lady, you rock :)

  • This chick is awesome

  • I like your approach to teaching. Perhaps you can do a youtube piece on finger picking...or is there already one?

  • You rock, and thanks for the lesson!

    It's my sister haha.

    They're not bad.

Just that there are nicer guitars out there.

  • i have the same guitar(:

  • Can someone tell me the right size for a guitar because I wanna start playing guitar and I don't know what size to buy.......what would be a right size lets say for adult size?

  • dependes on whar you want i started on a full eletric but go to a music store and ask to play some try all sizes but make sure you can reach the 1st fret and make sure you can play the 15th fret without buzzing or get a friend to come with you hope this helps

  • you are awesome thank you

  • i just got my acoustic

    din get a pickguard :'(

anyway to remove the scratches ??

    and is a capo essential??

    sorry but i m a begginer :p

  • For the scratches try to get some wood polish or something like that on your guitar shop...

Capo is not essential, is just a useful thing to make the guitar experience more fun...sometimes when learning you get tired of playing the same song in the same key so you stick the capo and play it in another key...it's nice when you're getting bored...also if you want to sing and play, with the capo you can adapt the song to your voice...

  • thanks!

  • toothpaste look up for video called removing scatches with toothpaste

  • Estás muy maja para fijarme en progresiones de blues jajaja ¡que me pones, coño!

  • hot as ...

  • great guitar lesson but im not the only one that thinks that sounds like la grange

  • cuz it is 8U

  • shes kinda playing the last two chords of it backwards. it does sound like it though

  • is this Dave with his hat off? if so...leave it off bro'. lol. nice lesson as usual you guys do a great job.

  • Whats the name of this song?

  • These lessons are KEWL. Nameless girl is a good instructor.

  • shes not nameless. I think her name is jennifer

  • LOL

  • what type of guitar is that?(company)

  • it's a Martin. I don't know what model though.

  • it's a martin

  • The best type of acoustic guitar in the WORLD!

  • what brand would that be?

  • i think dave's better at teaching, but she does a decent job of teaching.

  • Nice to see another style in the videos Dave.

    Thanks!

  • dayum! hot chick teachin the blues! good one!

  • No kiddin man lol

  • there always has to be a sexist comment huh?

  • I'm sure she dont mind being called hot :)

  • In addition to my tongue in cheek comments before I should say that I really do appreciate these blues lessons from this lady and NLG.

  • DAVE ?

    Daves not here

  • a little reverb

  • you know this girl is pretty good but i would take a lesson from david taub over her any day

  • that progression its pretty similar to the chord progresion on zz top's hit le grande

  • would it be dumb to put emg's into a mexi strat? Or should i wait til i get an american?

  • no i think you must be a dumb if you put some emg pickups to a stratocaster, i dont knw but i think idoesn fit with the strat sond and you know , i f i had that choise i woul leave it like singles and put emg pickups on a guitar with floyd rose or even a les paul but deffinitely not a strat

  • EMG makes single coil pickups. You're thinking humbucker p/u's.

    z

  • i was thinkin along the lines of david gilmour, with the single coil active pu's.

  • what did you do to david???

  • Thanks for sharing!

  • Jen - Looks like 1-4-3,,,, A-D-C What am I missing. Thanks for posting the lesson.

    RockinRobby

  • The C is simply a passing chord in the progression.

    z

  • its a martin, looks nothing like a takamine lol...?

  • hmm... that looks like a takamine

  • La Grange! :o

  • By the way, when are we gonna see the Gibson Robot review? It was advertised as "See it Next Week" on the Fender VG video.

  • wow dave .. you sure changed a lot :s did you do something different with your hair? :p

    cool lesson ;)

  • Very La Grange like, I like it. Very good Lesson

  • Very nice, thank you for the help. Looks like my Martin D-16

  • thanks for another cool lesson , keep up the good work

  • love the zz top song!

  • I love ZZ top and I love this lesson thanks so much!!

  • yeah, some la grange in that :D

  • I assume that black bar in the middle of the guitar is a pickup so it can be used in an amp. That's a cool idea. (Correct me if I'm wrong about this)

  • you are correct

  • i agree with you ,,, and we shoulnt pay anything

  • ZZ Top stole those licks and the music from the John Lee Hooker song Boggie Chillin. Wander if they ever shared there millions with him.

  • im sure someone else used it before zz top. it's the blues, man.

  • Great lesson Thanks!!

  • if you want advanced lessons pay for them

  • maybe even my g-string...WOW!!!!
