To me, it tasted more like funnel cake than an actual doughnut. I think if we played with the recipe some more, we could get it tasting like a more traditional doughnut, but this was our first attempt at it.
Thanks for sharing - I was curious how this thing works :-) The doughnuts look more like bagels... any "insights" about the taste of the doughnuts in comparison to other baking method using the same recipe?
