They started out looking like an evil grin, and now they're just random clusters after about a month of sitting in a box. Everyone, this does work. There's a difference between a stuck pixel and a dead pixel. Dead pixels cannot be recovered, They are usually a light green-blue colour. Stuck pixels are black.

@AmyJPgh yes, that is correct. The way LCDs work is by using red, green, and blue liquid and projecting light through them. If it is one of those colors, it means that the fluid is simply stuck. If there is no color (black), it means that it doesn't work at all and is dead.

The way I used to get rid of a stuck pixel is by applying mediate pressure to the dead pixel with your finger and then turning the screen off and then back on.

It worked. I had several pixels together that were stuck. Nothing worked, But then I got the bright idea of freezing the area. I used a can of Ronson butane in a well ventilated room. I sprayed the stuck pixels from about a 1/4 inch while playing this video. Then I tapped on the screen while it was still cold. It took 3 applications, but each time, the dot got smaller and clearer and no, it wasn't dirt, I had already tried to clean it off. Just be careful, and no smoking! Saved a 22 in. monitor

I find that color changing the screen like this can actually cause pixels to go out, I was playing with my psp's colors, and thought "oh hey, this is cool" so I was flipping through the colors, back and fourth, and a pixel went out... ooops :-(

1. Turn off your monitor. 2. Get yourself a damp cloth, so that you wont scratch the screen. 3. Apply pressure to the area where the stuck pixel is. Try not to put pressure anywhere else, as this may trigger the creation of more stuck pixels. 4. While applying pressure, turn on your computer and screen. 5. Remove pressure and the stuck pixel should be gone.
