When I was a kid, the whole class would get punished if the offending child didn't fess up to the crime. Not with physical abuse perhaps, but with something taken away from us. The justice comes after school, when the kid who did it got his ass whooped by the 20 kids who lost out on something because he/she didn't confess. ;o)

It DOES say in the Bible, "foolishness is bound in the hearts of children, but the rod of correction shall drive it far from them." That being said, I don't like the idea hitting children. My son is a wonderful little boy, I've never even raised my voice. If you spend enough time with your children while they're young, teaching correct actions & beliefs, they'll be good. My son brings me much joy. I'd be a serious asshole if I made him suffer because I failed to teach him effectively.

Life is harsh in whole africa and i understand why the teachers are so mad since it's because of a Water Tank.
