  • man, this woulda been way better if you had a better Bass split.

  • Lololololol sooooo many trolls X)

  • god i wanna go to that party

    SOUSA TIME!!!!

  • I still remember playing in that band room, the energy and intensity of the drum cadences mixed with half of us who weren't drummers screwing off. Too bad that whole wing of the school smelled like sewage. (Does it still?) Great memories...

    C/o 2000, alto / bari sax.

  • Ahhhh cadences... Good times good times....

  • anyone know the cadence they start playing at :37 ?

  • @thescream22 George of the Jungle

  • @bennygoodman03 you know where i can get the sheet music for that?

  • freakin A we were amazing!

  • umm... they garbage compared 2 da drumline im on... n da snares aint holding da sticks tha rite way... need 2 work on technique

  • Yep Stow Band Cadences are the best of the best good times and memories.

  • Why so many bass drums? We have 2 bass, two quads, eight snare and five cymbols. We really only need one bass. Lol

  • wow..not fair, you have so many drummers! lol

this year, our drumline consists of; 1 quad (me), 3 snares, 4 bass drums, and 3 cymbals. 2 of the cymbal players play other instruments like oboe. and all but one of our bass drummers SUCK. and one of our snare players suck too lol

  • that sucks. we have 7 snares, 4 tenors, 5 basses, 7 cymbals.

  • @Rzeznik410 Holy SHIT! lol lucky. Our rival school has 22 members of their drumline.

  • Yes this is amazing!! Thank you for posting it. Nothing is as awesome as watching the Stow Band enter the stadium doing the cadences. Please post more!!!

  • Haha sorry, I don't have any more. This is from my sophomore or junior year of high school. I'm a sophomore in college now. No more Stow.

  • one of the best bands lol and btw this this was September or October of 06

  • Were you in it then?

  • Comment removed

  • is there a reason for matched grip?

    Traditional looks so much better.

    just an opinion.

  • I'm not a percussionist, so I really can't help you with that haha, Sorry.

  • gotta love stow lol best hometown eva!

  • my favorite thing ever.

if I'm craving cadences I watch this.

    XD

  • luuuuv stow band!

  • This is stow right? If it is sweet!

I'm in band too... just not at the highschool.

  • Yes it's Stow. This was a few years ago though.

  • cool. I'm in the middle school band. We just played with the high school band for homecoming.

  • Yup. They do that every year. It's usually a pain because there's so many people on the field :p

  • why don't you have the really high tom on your quads?

  • Because they are quads, not tenors.

  • This is a pretty big drumline for high school. Don't laugh but this year my school's drumline has 1 tenor, 2 snares, and 4 bases. No Cymbals

  • if you guys are so good then why dont you show us up?

  • I play tenors at my high school and we do the same thing on game day but in the gym, and like they say it isn't corps quality but it's a hell of a lot cleaner than that shit, sounded so dirty

  • you arent even holding your sticks right!

  • fuck you, how about worrying about your own playing instead of criticizing everyone elses

  • traditional...

  • I miss this soooo much... I hope all of the Stowbillies are doing well and keep ROCKIN Stow drumline. Strive to be the best but the class of '99 was the best!! John, Matt, Dan and Ben.

  • I love our cadences!!!!! yay stow band!

  • I LOVE YOU!!!!!!

you have satisfied my craving for cadences!!!

you know we do that like every game now, not just home games..?

I'm totally gonna record them one Friday this next year!!!

    -Zoe

  • r u sure ur drumline is tha best??? how many girls u got that can play???

  • real g's play traditional, match grip is so caveman.

  • my school sucks we about 4 working marching drums and 3 harnesses.

  • Yeah im the drummer who dropped his stick... im ashamed. and for all the commentors, it doesnt matter what style you play, it all has to do with what you sound like, plu show you learn how to play from the beggining.

  • u should be ashamed

  • yea, thats all good and everything, but theres also a thing called "showmanship" playing tradishional 4 snares makes everything look neater. You guys were just letting the sticks flop everywhere in ur hands, hents the dropped stick.

  • hence* =D

  • screw u "Ricky"!!!!!

hahahahahahahahahahaha, well @least i kno how 2 spell "hence"

  • uh-huh its called "having fun" HENCE before a football game. try it, kook1028.

  • this is my band, and we're known as good musicians too, we're just crazy sometimes. i don't see what's wrong with that. cadences at this time is so much fun. what school do u go to? is it by stow?

  • umm....if its in so. cal, i go 2 la canada hs

  • oh well im sure u guys r good but we ain't bad when performance time comes. our percussion has a crazy level of energy but they're amazing when u pu their minds to it. :)

  • @Jmiami543 not from that peice i mean it was good but it was all over the place in the togetherness

  • why didn't u guys play pregame or ta dam????

  • all together are cadences are sweet

  • im the first snare drummer on the left, we have 8 snares 6 basses and 4 quads. we were good my freshman year , sophmore year we were alright which is this one and we should be ok this year too!

  • damn im surprised 5th bass player didnt knock out the quad player.

  • mane yall crazy LOL* what school r u

  • This is a weird line: 6 basses, the tenors only have 4 drums. Kinda bothers me, but still alright stuff for just the ears.

  • They're not tenors they're quads lolz

  • Yall dont play traditional?

  • ummmm ok good ya right noooo disicipline!!! can any snare hold there sticks right ha no!

  • Needs to be pulled together alittle, and you all need more disicipline. Pretty good.

  • this another rip off of native american powpow. asses

  • lacks discipline, watch any drum corps drumline then tell me how good you are.

  • its was ok but our schools drumline would stomp all over them

  • I was a drummer in high school. Snare rank leader. And sorry but you guys need some work getting your parts all together and tight. But it was good for the most part.

  • Okay, all you guys that say we suck are crazy! It only sucks on camera! If you saw it in person, you'd see that we're AMAZING! And ya, percussion does suck at first, but during cadences, they're always AMAZING! Soo, come and see us!

  • oh ok ya nice excuse

  • ewwwwwww

  • Awww that's sad.

  • tight?

    NOT

  • what high school is this?

    Very nice work!

  • stow-munroe falls high school. To me it sounds weird online, but it's amzing in person. Plus you can't really hear or see the dance the rest of the band does. but ya pretty sweet.

  • That was good !

  • thanks!

  • you guys need some work

    try playing traditonal

    snares are way dirty

the bass are droped to low

    good splits

  • true true,

    but i still like it.

our line plays some of the same stuff.
