Smallville Clois Moment 330: Season 10 Episode 16

This scene underlined a theme that's been running through Smallville since the very beginning, that knowledge that I think is often forgotten in some Superman stories: CLARK IS NOT HUMAN. He's the ultimate outsider and he's been living with that feeling for nearly his whole life. Lana always kept him at a distance even before The Secret came into play, Chloe put him on a pedestal, but to Lois he was always her Smallville, before she knew, and after she knew, he was still just the same to her.

IN YOUR FACE CLANA!!!! i was so mad when they didn't have an eppy of lana coming back saying "i got rid of the kryptonite...we can be together" and then clark saying "bitch plz!" lol. he was so whiny, needy and obsessive with lana. he just LOVES lois. clana shippers seem to forget all the crap lana pulled in season 6 and 7...

Clark trusted Lana? Why did it take him so long to tell her his secret? And when he did tell her, their relationship was rocky due to all the crap Lana pulled. But this is about how Clark feels, and he feels normal with Lois because she doesn't see him as her superior, like Lana did hell that's why Lana wanted powers and when Clana were on the roof of the DP she said now we're equals. Yeah that would make Clark feel normal. *Rolls eyes*

That's why he loves it when Lois calls him 'Smallville'.

That's why Lana is not the one for Clark. Lois is the one for him :DD I'm so happy for them. Yeah,they make a great couple.

@cassaclowna FALSE!!! clark actually did trust lana thats why he told her his secret in season 5 but she was killed in the car accident so ..when jorel gave her a second chance he didnt tell her because it put her life in jeopardy ..and also he wasnt even going to tell lois his secret until she was about to leave him in the isis episode so it was either lose her or tell her... so he told her... so basically he told her not cuz he trusted her but because she was about to break it off

@TERREN65 First, he had learned his lesson with Lana and that is why he didn't want to tell Lois. He actually told her twice (if I'm not mistaken) and was on the verge of telling her at least once more before the time when he told her for real. Second, he isn't talking about trust, he's talking about feeling like a human being and you absolutely can not deny he felt very far away from human when he was with Lana.

@TERREN65 If you want to make it about trust - when he was with Lana he didn't trust HIMSELF enough. Since he and Lois were together he started trusting himself more, because she encouraged and believed in him even when she didn't know it was him. All he means is that he doesn't feel like a freak when he's with her - it doesn't matter to either of them if he is the strongest man on the planet or not.

@didimilenkova i agree , on that but what the other person said @cassaclowna is that he didnt trust lana ... and thats just not true .. he did trust her . he may not at sum point because she married lex but most of the time he did otherwise he wouldnt have let her in , in season 7 ..this person made it like he didnt trust her at all ..

@didimilenkova im not denying anything but for him to say that lois is the only thing that has ever made him feel normal is not true because in season 5 when he lost his powers he said he was happy he was finally normal and he felt normal and basically chloe asked if that was what he wanted then he looked at lana and said its want he's always wanted so...thats proof he felt normal with her ..maybe not ALL the time but he did at one point...

@didimilenkova and also he told her when he was on red k..so that doesnt count for the trust part. the other time he told her it was an alternate reality ..that doesnt count either ... so basically im not saying he doesnt trust lois cuz i know he does and im happy he does i love clois but the point im trying to make is that the reason he told her is because he was about to lose her...thats the point i was trying to make to the other person ..

Erica Durance has always been cute, but I think in Season 10 she was especially beautiful. Love looks radiant on Lois :)

@cassaclowna Of all the people Clark has known in his life, the only person he's really felt 100% comfortable with in his own skin is Lois. He was always guarded around everyone b/c of his secret, even his best friends in high school Chloe and Pete, and certainly around Lana and Lex, neither of whom he felt he could trust. With Lois, he could always be "himself".
