  • Guys who dont know what Buddha fist is. WATCH IRON MONKEY OR JACKIE CHAN

  • I was molested when I was young by Richard Black. The man is a monster that loves to take advantage of weaker children. YOU ruined my life and my childhood Richard. I hope you are happy.

  • ugghh...

  • Fu Jow Pai has gone down the tubes bigtime... funny is that some people are impressed by this

  • Sadly, white people will never look cool doing Kung Fu

  • Movements are too "european kungfu" - too slow, not sharp.

  • jajajajejejejejeee

  • THis is what happens when some idiot makes homemade crap.

  • I ask that your join the Master Black fan club on facebook. He is a true master to students across the world. GO USSD!

  • Too theatrical.

  • lol no contest compared to the monks and yet they show great respect to him

  • The Professor was actually taught this from from a real buddah. That is why it is called buddahfist. This form is over 200 years old. GO USSD!

  • @bncrbartxla ROFL> USSD is a joke. They need to stick to Kenpo..............

  • @bowser8375 thats what i say. fuck this shaolin crap

  • @bncrbartxla no. Sorry, but you're wrong. This is from Fu Jow Pai and was taught to you guys from Sifu Tak Wah Eng.

  • @Fanara1 Wrong! This form is from the ancient shaolin temple and was taught only to USSD students. It is over 200 years old. GO USSD! LAS VEGAS # 1

  • @bncrbartxla wow. um, you better let Sifu Wai Hong (from Fu Jow Pai) and Sifu Tak Wah Eng know that only USSD students are supposed to have this form. I don't know what you're on, but it has to be good stuff. You're a bit dilusional to think that only USSD has this form. I know for a fact that a lot of people outside USSD have the form. In fact, you can get a video of it from Sifu Tak. It's really called "Law Horn Kuen." (I think it's Buddha Fist in Cantonese).

  • @bncrbartxla dude.. a real budduh? hahaha your a fucking moron. do you mean monk?

  • @HiTIVIAIN I mean a buddah himself. USSD is the only true place one can learn authentic shaolin kung fu so say the abbot of the temple himself. Our shaolin defenseive manuevers come right out of the den of wooden men. If you did not know all 108 then you would die in the lower levels of the temple. I have been to the temple and was honered to be a disciple. GO USSD! LAS VEGAS # 1

  • God, I wonder how much pressure you'd have to do that in front of the monks

  • Kenpo? Grand master mattera, what happened in Virginia? Potomac kenpo? I guess tradition went out the window when you squeezed the dojos for franchise rights. Sorry about the coup de tas?

  • isnt that kinda a historical & maby even political nightmare for china and japan. no wonder there not clapping, hes just presented a ""shaolin/chinese form with japanese etiquett

  • Why are all of these recorded on rainy days? o.O

  • @thedemonwithintheDEN this was all in one day.

  • anyone else thought a big yellow colored palm would fly out of his hand destroy the place?

  • look at all the monks none of them are claping cuz there like wtf is that

  • ya thats why theres one taking a video. and they do clap at the end look carefully you fool. lol

  • @FrozenSympathy LOL !

  • I believe for all the styles of wushu, there is no single one that is superior. All of those who practice different styles of wushu, they would naturally have a different level of skill. Through competition, we can discover ourselves.

  • I wish I could have gone to see this!

  • is this a kata or something cause i thought that it would be a punch

  • @batistaker123 katas are japanese, this is chinese....

  • @Argogon

Dojo is a Japanese term, not Chinese.

  • if you knew a traditional form and could perform it 15 times in a row, and i mean ANY traditional form, you would be well on your way to become a master! a form like the one in this video is of no use, not even for warming up!

  • today's street reality is this: when someone is holding a knife or a gun he doesn't expect any kind of resistance because people cannot fight back because the don't know how. in ancient times people knew how to defend themselves. so street combat has downgraded since and therefore modernized martial arts are a poor relative of their real ancestors.

  • not to mention that this form is easier and shorter than the most basic traditional kung fu forms!

  • heh, smartass is the best you got? Come on, I expected better haha. As it is, I feel I must clarify that forms are not actually considered "practical application" and anyone who tells you otherwise is an idiots. Forms are similar to shadowboxing and are used mainly as a cardio workout and as breath exercises. The first 20 seconds are that of the salutation. As I said, breathing exercises.

  • And beyond that, may I point out that while traditional martial arts in any form is quite formidable in hands of a properly trained and skill warrior, traditional ways cannot compete with the reality of street fighting. And besides, to the extent of my knowledge, this is a basic form. I actually know a couple basic forms myself, but when you actually learn and perform the forms, you realize that it and most forms, and incomparable to combat.

  • forms contain the essence of kung fu. everything a fighter needs is in the forms. it is not aerobic exercise. it is techniques, speed, agility, power. traditional martial arts are the most efficient and real of the kind because they were created in ancient times to do war with them. by admitting your forms are incomparable to combat you admit ignorance. real shaolin monks do not do contemporary wushu!

  • USSD is not actually "trying to look traditional" as "street reality" is blended into the style. It won't look like traditional styles because it isn't. Its basically been modernized to keep up with a changing world. And again, forms are not meant for combat, forms are meant as cardio and breathing exercises as well as being similar to shadowboxing. Trust me, when you do every form you know like 15 times each, you will sweat your ass off haha. That and plain exercising is how I keep in shape :)

  • USSD is not traditional at all. Yet they have no problem attaching the word Shaolin to their schools. To be honest it is a joke. This is even worse than Contemporary Wushu, at least they make it look good. This looks like some 10 year old made up this form. Lack of power, cant see that most of these moves have any real world application.

  • ROFL, you must be on some killer crack man. There are lots of Great and Real Shaolin Schools in this country. There are actually some Shaolin Temples as well. You obviously have no clue what you are talking about. For the Record I study Shaolin Longfist, and 5 Animals Kung Fu. USSD is a fucking joke when it comes to Shaolin. Only reason they use the name is because they made a donation LOL. Get a clue.

  • @bowser8375 it's not the form. the form is a traditional one. the guy who performs it sucks like shit.

  • first of all you don't call a kung fu school a dojo (using a japanese word for a chinese martial art). secondly in this clip the form is definitely made up and in the most part the moves make absolutely no sense!

  • well if its made up how come you can see a shaolin monk doing the exact same form?

  • First off, the word "dojo" is chinese for training hall (Or similar, I'm not great at translating) and Second, of course a form is not going to make much sense if you don't know it, or the style, or of martial arts in general. Brillent display of ignorance.

  • ok smart*** explain to me the application of the moves until 0:20. the next couple of seconds are completely lacking power. 0:41 makes absolutely no sense of applicability. it is basically "contemporary" wushu trying to look traditional

  • And just to clarify my point, let me ask you this, would it make sense for me to use a backhand? (A backhand is where you use the back of your hand to strike an object or surface, leading with the knuckles, not to be confused with backfist) Does it make sense I fought open handed? To most, not really. To me, ya, since I using open hand and strong stances to trap my enemy, or disrupt his attacks or knock him off balance. (I dislike causing pain)

  • Noticed some Tiger in there

  • USSD SUCKSSSSS

  • wow...you guys like to shelter everyone. you do realize that one of your instructors did get arrested on tuesday, right? it was on the the freaking cbs news broadcast

  • @thekungfumonkey could you gice me a link if its on youtube

  • Sad...I could never understand why USSD always wanted to be so affiliated with shaolin when they were karate uniforms and the style is based off of Japanese styles not Shaolin.

  • The Style is Kenpo, which has more in common with Kung Fu than just traditional Japanese Karate. It is in fact a different system and has more roots in chinese, etc. What do the uniforms have to do with it?

  • I know what the style is. I was an instructor with USSD for years. Only since the recent migration to China has there really been an influx of chinese influence thru forms. Don't get me wrong I value the training I had and enjoy teaching very much but find a disconnect with traditional 'kung fu' DeMasco was the one that always sought chinese influence but he is no longer part of the system.

  • mmm.... USSD has about as much to do with Kung Fu as cat has to do with a lawnmower. (shut up... the analogy department closes at 7 here)

  • i love USSD . i love my instructors and i love my dojo. plus it has changed my life and even saved my life i started weighing about 300 pounds at the age of 17 but now i weigh 190 and still losing weight so anyone who trashes USSD or the martial arts in general are idiots. mainly dragonkickdude and lemmonandlime

  • I'd like to see this clown square off with just a 3 year monk from Huashan or Mt. Song. He'd be swallowing his teeth. Buddha shit is more like it. Horrible, pathetic, beyond words, this is exactly the kind of half-baked cheese whiz that makes North Americans look like a bunch of asshole jerks especially to far east countries. Excuse me while I hurl in a bag. Christ this was almost like a Ben Stiller skit. Unbelievable. I would say lol but it's anything but funny.

  • all i can say is wow... first of all, this is NOT Shaolin what so ever. second of all it was not performed clea, OR powerful. Third.... NOT Buddha fist....

fourth and most important of all, THIS is why when USSD asked me to teach Shaolin at their schools, i PROMPTLY said no

  • Wow, what the hell was that?

Yingzhaoquan, Changquan, Nanquan, Huzhaoquan all done extremely poorly mashed in with 8 Buddhist salutes = Buddha's Palm!? Goog thing Buddha is known for his patience and compassion, cause this form is just whack!

  • lol...i'm with you!

  • you know what's funny? if you type in fu jow pai in the search box, you'll see a clip that says fu jow pai 1972. it's what this form should really look like.

  • Why did master Scott woods leave ussd?

Why did grandmaster Steve demasco leave ussd?

Why did Grandmaster Brian Hanson leave ussd?

Makes you wonder how mattera treats his top black belts?

why is grandmaster Fred Villari not in the ussd bb manaul?

he trained Mattera from white to 7th dan.

is it because mattera stab him the back and stole a bunch of his schools and change the name to ussd?

Isn't honor and respect part of the martial arts code?

I guess that doesn't apply to ussd?

  • My my DKI and Kyusho International have their differences but I don't think it's quite as bad as this is. How foolish.

  • Praise Buddha, Buddha bless him!

  • He drops into eagle claw ah a blending of more than one style!

  • this form is from fu jow pai...it's tiger claw.

  • Why did MAster bill Mailman leave USSD?

Did Charles Mattera screw him over?

  • Funny this form is not in the ussd system from white to black.

Do you guys realized you guys are learning fred villari kempo not shaolin?

  • why did master scott woods leave ussd? why is grandmaster fred villari not in the ussd bb manaul?

he trained mattera from white to 7th dan.

is it because mattera stab him the back and stole a bunch of his schools and change the name to ussd?

  • That was so great.

  • Da ti polnij dolbojod. Fucking video, cloun in the video!!!!!!!!!!! :DDDDDD

  • Sad jealous people talking shit and claiming to be experts on traditional Martial Arts seem to have missed the whole point of training. The true purpose is to enlighten oneself. A true expert would know that it's about discipline and self improvement. Not about ego or competition. Maybe if more of you studied the true philosophy instead of trying to be a bad ass then you would lighten up a little and you would be a happier person. And Advertising for Villari Dojos on here just seems desperate.

  • yes, thank you.

    you made a solid point.

  • why is Grandmaster Fred Villari not in the ussd bb manual?

  • also this form is from the black tiger system, taught to DeMasco by Master Tak. I don't know what the new Mattera rumors are, I haven't been affiliated with USSD for a while now, teach solo for free and for fun and study Wing Chun.

  • this form is a combination of two different forms. it's law horn kuen from fu jow pai and it ends with a different form. Sifu Tak combined the form for a clinic that he did for USSD

  • just type charles mattera ussd and you will find a lot of villari instructors and ex ussd instructors.

  • Do you think $250 a month is a good price for Karate? How many people do you have to pitch to sign up? If you charged $130 a month and had 100 students that's $13,000 A MONTH! Plus testing fee's and enrollment fee's, ninja nights.

How much is rent? $3,000 a month? That leaves you $10,000 a month in profit. If you work for Ussd they keep most of it and give you $500 a week. What would you rather have, $500 a week paycheck or $2,500 a week paycheck?

Now ask yourself are you being scamed?

  • Type in charles mattera ussd in google.

You will see the real TRUTH about ussd!

Convicted felons running the Ussd company.

  • Type Charles Mattera Ussd in google.

You will see what a great company ussd is.

  • You're absolutely right- USSD is about being the best Martial Artist you can be. As long as being the best includes: Paying ridiculous amounts of money for lessons, Learning from instructors with little to no experience, Being charged for private lessons that are necessary to earn rank, Learning robotic techniques that seldom work in a real fighting situation, and being associated with an organization that employs felons and convicted pedophiles!

  • Best comment about ussd and charles mattera yet!!

  • @lemmonandlime dude shut the fuck, your a fag, but your right.

  • Thank you!

  • buena danza

  • that is so cool

  • you're just as lost as they are-villari's teaches the same made-up"Ancient Chinese Kata number one..etc" crap. Are you kidding me? How stupid do you have to be to think that there ever was a form with that name? "Kata" is Japanese fer cryin out loud!

Do me and yourself a big favor. Open up a fukin book. The internet is a great resource. Do some searching. Heck, youtube has a bazillion links to real Chinese Martial Arts.

    Wake the Fuk up, already!

  • after 3rd dan we teach shaolin forms. Up tell then it's kempo.

  • Villari actually teaches Shaolin Forms?

  • yep-for free.

How much did you pay to perform in front of a bunch of guys bored out of their minds, dressed up as monks to watch you perform that vomit? Did'ja get a real kewl certificate to hang in your livingroom, next to your nunchucks? Well then, I guess ya got yer money's worth.

    "But he's a Shaolin MONK!"

    "But, they're MAGIC beans!"

    notice a similarity?

    Yes? No?

How does it feel do be that stupid?

  • If you owned your dojo 100% and charged $135 a month for lessons you would make $13,500 in tuition alone!!!!

Add testing fees and sparing gear and you would make around $18,000 a month with Villaris!!!

Or you can stay with ussd and make $350 a week no taxes taken out.

  • Open your dojo at 3:00p.m.

    take Christmas week off!!

Spend more time with your Family.

Or stay with ussd and work 60 hours a week for $350

  • Most ussd students are stupid. If they came over to villaris there lives would be be better and happy!

  • I love it. These guys stand out in the rain like idiots doing their made-up garbage wannabe kungfu, while the monks sit under umbrellas, collecting their money.

  • here is a guy performing in China in front of the abbott - you perform in your garage - mook

  • Looks like a combination of modern wushu forms. Starts off with a nan quan type opening, then modern longfist, ditang, and modern eagle claw.

  • Law Horn Kuen is meant to give you relaxation in your movements. It comes off as 'flashy' but it fulfills its purpose very well.

  • own a dojo with villaris for $50,000

    why did demasco leave ussd?

  • he didnt

  • is there white ppl there??

  • Blablabla. The seifa was good. Stop talking, show a seifa.

  • wth is a seifa? i even googled it and found nothing to do with a form...

  • Law Horn Kuen is also the name of an Eagle Claw form. It does look kinda contemporary-with all the flashy moves. Kinda overly dramatic.

  • Law Horn Kuen is just Cantonese for Buddha Fist. There's also Lohan Chuan. Same name but a different form. Many Chinese styles have a "Buddha Fist" form.

  • Who are you talking to? I'm not SenseiShellie.

  • and so the everlasting feud between Villari and Mattera continues...lol

  • I've studied it also. I could not hang with the OC gang cause I'm an ugly hoe.

  • I've studied it from the actual person that taught the form...I doubt you have.

  • ive studdied buddha palm and ive never seen this form before.....very interesting

  • Because it's not Buddha Palm. It's Fu Jow Pai. The form name is Law Horn Kuen.

  • This is a totally wushufied version of whatever it might of been, if it was in fact ever real.

  • Someone who's been doing CMA since 1975, published author and researcher, and who regularly corresponds with old (in their 80s) Shaolin practitioners.

  • That form is total modern crap, it is a mixture of postures from various forms, there is no authentic Shaolin form that looks like that one.

  • and who the fuck are you?

  • @teylorleigh by the looks of it someone who knows his stuff

  • Um, I think the original form is from either Fu Jow Pai or Hung Ga. It's called Law Horn Kuen.

  • i agree with you.. you said it loud and clear moder crap.

  • Do some research before you decide to say something. I had the privilege to train under the monks today for a U.S.S.D seminar and test, and I learned a form with similar moves to this one. Because something looks "modern" (I really don't know how you can say this is "modern"), doesn't mean it is.

  • I guess with all the research that you have done you would know then a lot of forms would have similar movements. That doesn't make it a classical form either. I know the form and you do need to know that it was taylored from the original version to make a special one for USSD.

  • I"m not a member of USSD but I think this form is aesthetically pleasing and shaolin kempo's kajukenbo roots probably makes it quite a deadly art. Also, I dont think there is any honor or integrity in bashing another martial art.

  • Too bad the form isn't a SKK or Kajukenbo form...

  • i can only imagine what went through the monks head when they saw these cracker performing the so called buddha fist". " They laughed"...lol..can any of these clowns do any areal stuff... i didn't think so. Mattera suck and all ussd black belts. This is my responce on what ussd black belts teach their students that other arts outside ussd suck. Now that i am out of ussd i can only see how full of shit its instructors are. Until i dont see any of them change the way they talk about other arts

  • I am a USSD black belt and there is a reason why the only time the 33rd abbot of the shaolin temple came out of China was for my Black Belt test and his face is on my black belt certificate. I am no longer with them because I disagree with the business side but I would take their masters over just about anyone outside. I have faced and met othere artists, not impressed. I have met the monks, been trained by them and been honored by the abbot Shi yonxin. What have you done with your life hotshot?

  • Apparently your martial art hasn't done much for you. You lack the most basic concept "discipline", I think it is you who would be laughed at by the monks for claiming to be a martial arts talking bad about others, especially hiding be hind a key board.

  • LOL lol lol, that crappy form is supposed to be Law Horn Kuen? Well, maybe the artist at hand here isn't fit "LOL" so I guess I'll just refuse to be convinced this time LOL.

  • OMG! You actually know the real for Law Horn Kuen? I have a tape of Sifu Tak Wah Eng doing the form. I bought one of the last copies from BLT...and I must say, seeing him do it makes me realize how much more there really is in the form than what he taught at a seminar. 34thshaolinstudent, you're rad.

  • buddha's fist?? wtf lol
