At 1:39-1:44, that is the fastest piano playing I've ever seen in my life. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn't have believed that fingers on a keyboard could move that fast!
@mmoynan it's me to apologize and to admit a mistake. in fact, in the contemporary use of the language it is considered and error (as "gie" / "ge" is a commonly misspelled sound), but in this particular case, we are in front of an old use, a very refined form (which nowadays would sound inappropriate, but not in liszt times) i guess you can use both (i checked, some dictionaries still show both versions). there is always something to learn!
@achgaia It's like "fuoco" or "foco" ; "cuore" or "core" As you say, one is the older usage (you read those spellings in Manzoni, or in 19th century opera libretti) the other is the modern usage. Things like that interest me and I enjoy looking them up. Perhaps a silly past-time, but it keeps me happy. Or, as a former teacher used to say "That's all very interesting, if you find that sort of thing interesting." I do!
Great this in black and white, I was only age 6 then, she is so beautiful and plays beautifully.

@achgaia Yes, sure! I spelled it like that because one of the related videos played her is spelled Leggierezza. :) My bad!
