@PinkPanther094 Ok yes he gave crosby what was coming to him, but he didnt chop that refs leg off. you have to look closley at the video. if you look, Downie pushes his sick forward to hit the puck away then the other guy slashes downie's stick into the refs leg. just an accident that wasnt looked into correctly by the AHL. the video is in related videos watch it closley.

@MrShmunkshmee He had 5 game winners(most in league), was there best defensive forward( was drafted as a defensmen by the way) was clucth when he needed to be, led his team in hits, was a force at both ends of the ice. 5 game winner was the league high in playoffs that year. If he wasnt clucth in those 5 moments the hawks may not have won. Half his goals where game winner and 2 in overtime.

He was arguably there best player in the playoffs and many editors believe he was the playoff MVP. Downie has HALF the points Dustin has this year and dustin is so much better defensivly is laughable. Everybody hates downie becuase he is incredibly DIRTy. Hockey inst just about points, as an overall player dustin is CLUTCH

Downie on the other hand was a 1st round pick 16th overall

I guess we're following the pattern of any country that's had power in history. Because the only thing to do with power is fear that you're going to lose it. Maybe that's why we watch hockey. It's one of the few things we can try to win fair and square, but hell, I suppose we can't even do that most of the time, like you say.
