how long u have been using this monitor and how is it working so far.

i want to buy a big 16:10 ratio monitor. i tried 16:9 and didnt like much for work.

I have the 18,5" and has some small bleeding but during the day it is non existent..........visible only at night. ;) Cheers :)

mine had a powerboard problem and it finally failed to power-up back in Jan. of this year....but Hannspree fixed it and was great customer service. It's working very well since.

It's a pretty good monitor. Not the best I've had. But it's ok. The thing that really bothers me about this product is the non- swivel monitor. Why the hell would they not put the damn thing on a round neck, rather they use the oval one. I mean, if it's already roundish, why not make it completely round for rotation purposes. I instead, have to move the entire product around.

It's like making bicycle wheels that don't turn. But resemble bicycle wheels. What's the point?

@Ishykawa no, it has 1:1 mapping so it will downscale fine.

It's 1200p 16:10 aspect ratio. The native rez is 1920x1200, so it can easily fit 1920x1080. When 16:9 content is displayed, I prefer to have bars to keep the correct aspect. 16:10 aspect is great for a hybrid display that handles computing tasks, movies, and games.

its a $300 - 28 inch screen... once again... its a 300 dollar screen.

if you want the more "extreme" performance, spend the 1-2 grand it costs for one of the nice 30 super screens.

its a big screen, some people dont like huge screens... im used to my 46" screen, and want bigger... but yes, this is a great monitor for the money, and I highly recommend it... I hardly ever recommend anything. But yes, it has lots of real estate, so it would kick ass for WoW.

it has 4 buttons on the side, its not easy, as you have to go to a menu, scroll to the volume, hit menu, then select the volume you want. 99.9% of the people who buy this, arn't going to use the speakers on it. they suck.

A few questions before I get this monitor it has only a HDMI port and D-SUB which is a VGA port in the back? Can I hook up my Pc to the HDMI port and Xbobx 360 to the VGA port? if so are the buttons on the monitor able to switch between both displays?

lol no, it looks great, and its 1920x1200,  my 46" on my main PC I have used for like 2 years is 1920x1080, and it doesn't look pixelated either.

its a $300 screen, people bitch and complain, like their $300 screen, needs to be just as good as the ones that are $1000-2,000. Doesn't dawn on them, that they are that expensive for a reason! you get what you pay for, and I can say, this screen was worth every penny of the $300 bucks I paid for it.
