When you do get a mK, try a sin wave and set a virtual patch LFO (or the Mod wheel) as source to the Sin wave CT1 as destination for frequency modulation.

Yes, this is a custom patch. I keep the microkorg by my bed, whan I cant sleep I program it and made a bunch of patches like this.  Listening with headphones on to them calms my mind enough and produces some very psychedelic dreams in the space between being awake and being asleep.

No post treatment at all other than a slight reverb off the mixer.
